I look forward to this all year long! We pass the farm on the way to Blue Run Park and watch the sunflower field blossom and wait for the farm to open to the public!
This year they planted even more vegetables and have a wonderful variety of farm fresh veggies to choose from. I bought yellow squash, zucchini, acorn squash, an onion, 3 BIG ripe red tomatoes, corn on the cob, sweet potatoes, bell peppers and a bouquet of sunflowers. The sum total was $17.25! I couldn't believe it! I had 2 big bags and a bouquet to put in my car. It took 2 trips!
I actually waited for the man to finish picking the corn. So I grabbed my camera and walked around taking photos.
They have goats in a pen to feed and pet and that was popular with the little ones....oh and me too!
I got permission to take these cuties!
Everything has been delicious and so far the sweet corn and ripe tomatoes are my favs!
I can't wait to go back and see what else comes in. I'm hungry for okra and hope they have peaches and blueberries next time. I'll probably go once a week now that everything is getting ripe. I'm going to get some watermelon chunks next time too.
What looks good to you?
Would you walk in the sunflower maze in the heat? I wasn't quite up to that but of course I stopped at Halpata Tastanaki Preserve (right next door) and hiked! lol It wasn't too hot for that!
I hope you have a beautiful week!

...a colorful destination.
Nothing better than fresh vegetables that you've bought at a farm! I must say, corn and tomatoes are my absolute favorite! Oh, I would go back and get okra too!!
Have a great week!
Nancy~
This looks like a wonderful Farm Market Diane and amazing prices as well. It is so interesting to me because the growing season here in this part of Florida is just about over. Farm Market stuff is almost all from somewhere else. It must be so much hotter here.
sunflowers, tomatoes and goats is all it would take to get me there, that is an AMAZING price for all that you got there. I love okra. in fact the only thing I don't like that you mentioned here is onion... but bob does
This looks like such a fun day! I have a very soft spot for sunflowers and goats!
Hello,
The sunflower farm is a fun place to visit. I love the sunflowers and the goats. Peaches, watermelon and blueberries sound yummy. Take care, enjoy your new week!
Farm stands are like mini holidays, always fun.
What a fabulous place! I just planted sunflower seeds and I am amazed they are already growing so big where you are Diane! It must have been wonderful to have fresh-picked corn and other fresh vegetables. We have finally warmed up here after a rather cool spring.
What a lovely place! It looks so peaceful and relaxing.
I love this farm and all its fresh treasures - according to Google it's about 1 hour and a half from my home - not too bad! I should check it when my family visits.
What a lovely outing, it certainly looks a wonderful Farm Market.
Enjoy the week ahead.
All the best Jan
Hi, dearest Diane,
it's wonderful to have a farm nearby where you can buy all those wonderful fruits, vegetables, flowers! And then goats too! Sigh! Up until a few years ago there was also a farm shop with goats near us, but unfortunately the woman stopped and now we have to drive further to get fresh organic food from the farmer. The products are also very good, but there are no goats ...
All the best

PS: The Sherman's Fox Squirrel in your previous post is also very adorable <3 <3 I haven't seen these animals before!
What a wonderful place to gather veggies, fruits and flowers!
Everything looks good to me. I'd like one watermelon and a walk through the you pick sunflowers. What a treat that would be.
Watermelon? Did you say 🍉? Course 🌽🍑🍅🫐all sound great, too. How far is this place from home?
I love the sunflowers! They are amazing in a field.
That was good price, and so glad to hear that they have been delicious too. Tomatoes from the grocery stores just don't taste the same. The sunflowers are lovely, but I probably would not have walked in the maze in the heat.

What a fun place. I would take a little bit of everything. Love those sunflowers.
Everything looks wonderful and I sure would enjoy being there.
So fun, beautiful and healing!
Full grown sunflowers already! Ours are still tiny things. You got a very good deal at the produce stand, awesome, Diane! Fresh produce straight from the farmer is the best. :-)
Yum .. corn on the cob. It will be a long while before we have that at our local farmstands.
Oh my, what a nice farm market! I'd buy everything you did, except maybe the acorn squash. I haven't been in a maze of sunflowers but I have wandered around in acres of them,, taking pictures and just enjoying them. Enjoy your fresh veggies!
Diane - I wonder if Cannon Farms will get even more visits since sunflowers seem to have gotten more popular with the war on Ukraine ... What would I buy? Fresh melon; I adore fresh melon! As an aside, I love your coreopsis header! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!
What a lovely place to stay.
It looks so peaceful and relaxing.
I would like to stay here for a week.
Greetings Irma
Oh how wonderful! I wish that was a bit closer for us. I'd love to go there! All those fresh veggies sound SO good! And of course the sunflowers would be wonderful to have as a bouquet! Thank you for sharing such a lovely day with us. I do wish I could pop on over, but that would be about an hour and a half away...hmmm...have to try and talk someone into it... Have a blessed day and week. At least we are getting some much needed rain!
I am quite sure you got real value for your money.
The Farm to Table experience is the best. Good, healthy hand grown and hand picked food that's fresh and tasty. Do they sell goat milk products? We are learning about goats here since the granddaughters have 4-H goats, now. Fields of sunflowers are always amazing. And that red jeep! What a great way to get the farm stand.
What a wonderful place and all that delicious fresh produce which I can not have now...at least for awhile. Also, I did think that fox squirrel was a monkey at first. I've never seen a black turtle l ike that either. Great adventures!
Loved this post..and now I am wanting some fresh produce, especially watermelon!
There's nothing like home grown veggies, and you got a bunch of them to take home! The tomatoes are the best, and the watermelon sounds wonderful. My dad grew okra in his garden, and my mom would fry it up that night. The sunflower fields are so pretty, and the sunflower is even lovely when drooping from the heat. Glad you had a chance to visit here and got to take home some goodies too!

You know I love farm stands, fresh produce and FLOWERS!! I want to visit this place with you.. wish I did not live so far away. ;-)
vegetable/farm stands are plentiful in this area, i really enjoy my visits to them. beside the fact that everything is fresh, i really like buying from small farms and supporting those farmers. you bought a lot, i wonder how you can eat it all before it spoils. when we visit the market, we always buy more than we can eat and some spoils...i wish it had a longer shelf life!!
we have started our week with beautiful weather, it's just a little humid!! wishing you a fun week as well!!
Oh we love fresh veggies too. Those sunflowers are so pretty. We are finishing up the last of our home grown potatoes we grew today. I will miss them. But, I have some tomatoes that will be ready in a few days. YUM! Happy June. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
It all sounds delicious to me and is making me wish I had some freshly picked corn on the cob for dinner tonight. The sunflowers are gorgeous too.
Oh, what fun! Farm-fresh veggies sound so good and the sunflowers are wonderful. There is nothing better than a sun-ripened tomato. Love the pics! Lucky you to have this place close by! x K
What a good price for so many different veggies.
The goats are so cute!
Looks like a lovely day.
So beautiful.

What a terrific place! I'm ready to head up there and pretend I'm looking for nature trails to hike. :)
Farm markets are the BEST place to get fresh produce. I'll bet that corn tasted amazing! Beautiful sunflowers. We went through a maze last summer, and it was quite warm, even up here.
Such a cute picture of the little one with the star glasses, that made me smile. Sun Flowers are such wonderful flowers. Sounds like you got quite the haul. Well done!

Love these pretty farm pictures, Diane! wow, those sunflowers are beauties! Ours are starting to bloom in our garden. Some are about 9 or 10 feet tall now, they sure grow fast as we grew them from seeds! We have alot of vegetables this year, more than last summer, so we are happy and excited about that. Hugs!!PS have you made any pictures of your dolls lately? I have an idea for you......photograph one of them, or some of them, out in "the wild" on your beautiful red JEEP!!!
Todo se ve precioso, me encanta. Besos.

Fresh fruit and veggies sound wonderful to me...we are ready for some corn on the cob. Those sunflowers look gorgeous! LOVE this warm weather down here!!! Thank you for sharing your day at the market. xo
sounds like a fun outing and you did get quite a bargain. Our produce in Pennsylvania is just starting . We have greens, strawberries, and herbs right now.
All that fresh produce is making me hungry. Love this time of year. xo Laura
