“Snow in July!”

Here in Florida, we enjoy white sand beaches

and beautiful white foamy ocean surf.

My hubby and I spent Christmas Day at Canaveral National Seashore last year. My post is HERE !

It was in the upper 70s that day and we played in the water and picked up seashells.

I love to decorate with seashells...

LanaiDecor-3[3]

especially in my lanai!

You can find touches of white everywhere...

a white shell tucked in the greenery...

or a white Egret hand painted on a Christmas ball.

And if you are in the mood to make some pretty things right now go to the Toymaker website HERE ! They have printable cards and projects like this beautiful bird!

redbirds1_thumb[2]

Go to this page on the website to download the pattern on your computer to print. (this is just a thumbnail)

Think of the fun we can have with Christmas in July!

And to add to the spirit of giving, would you like to win a handmade tote bag? I made this one in a pretty red and white cotton fabric

and added a touch of Florida.

Oh I want that!!! And some shells too to put on my deck! LOL

I would take the whites of Florida over the snow anyday, ALTHOUGH it is mighty hot right now and so so dry!!

Need some relief in the form of rain LOL, as many do.

Please throw my name in your giveaway

HUGS and have a great weekend

I love your Christmas decorations! It's nice to have a touch of the beach around us, and I love how you've made that floral bag a touch beachy, too. Very pretty Diane!

I'm off to Daytona this weekend for a roller derby bout, and to search for some much needed supplies. Wish me luck!

Oh, Diane, I LOVE this. It's so happy and cheerful, just as your page is every single time I visit. That red and white tote is adorable. Best wishes to all your guests.

I am delighted that you joined the wintry party. Us Florida gals could certainly use it. ;)

By the way, I did the same thing last Christmas...headed to the beach with my husband for a walk. It was a tad chilly, not much, and I wore a Christmas scarf. Scarf on my neck and sand in my toes...gotta love Florida.

Thank you for playing in the snow along with us.
Off to visit your links.

KEEP SHINING!

Hello Diane, I'm visiting from Marcia's Snow In July party. Now this is my kind of snow. I don't know what I'm doing living here in PA. It has been very hot but the snow will come and the older I get the less I like the cold and snow. It is beautiful to look at but I really, really love to look at the ocean and seashells. I am one of your followers and thank you for a chance to win your beautiful tote give away. Joyous Wishes, Linda
