Hi Diane,
I can't wait to see your house with her new paint...We are also having our house painted, She is being power washed this week and painted next week. We have chosen a yellow body with white trim and either a red, blue or gray door not for sure yet on the door until we see the body of the house.
Have a sweet day,
Elizabeth

Hi! I just popped over from Vee's blog. Isn't she wonderful? I love the color of your house. Mine is a boring white. If we get new siding that may change! :D

Hi Diane,
Fresh coat of paint! As you know our house at this point is tarpaper white with a hint of plywood brown! Go redneck!
Good luck and can't wait to see both of our homes finished!
Enjoy your day,
Barb

I had mine painted last year. I wanted to go with a terra cotta but when we put a sample on the side all I could hear in my head was "oh those people in the orange house with those barking dogs"...so instead I chose a Portabello brown. It looks so nice. It is fun to have a fresh coat of paint to bright up the outside. looks good

Silver sage.

I think we'd look good together side by side, don't you?

That lavender is a lovely color!

The yellow house is yellow inside and out. Our old house has no paint outside at all but will not rot because of the type of wood it was built from 160 years ago. Joe says since he met me ten years ago I have kept him too busy to paint the house. Also if he paints it they will raise his taxes and he is right!

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

Well, of course your house is lavender.....it's YOUR color. Our house is brick (but not painted brick) with cream trim and front door, black shutters.

It's perfectly YOU! I keep thinking we need a splash more color with window shutters. Our grayish house is rather boring. The flowers in our window boxes help with color, but that only helps part of the year.

I love that you have a lavender cottage! It's so you :) My house is a tan color, and could use a fresh coat of paint, too. Will your house be the same shade of lavender? XO!

I think it is so great that you are brave enough to have your house in the colour you really love! Good for you. I think it is going to look beautiful. Will you be painting your front door in a deep purple? I can't wait to see it! I would put a plaque on the front entrance way that says "Lavender Dreams".

I can't tell -- has it been painted in these pictures? It appears to be a pale lavender -- close ups please so we can see the real color! My house is stone and brick with taupe window frames, etc. Kind of 'bland' but hopefully someday I'll paint the front door a shocking shade of turquoise!

What a fun color and actually very subtle. Good for you, so fresh!
I guess I'd call my house a greenish gray, almost blue depending on what you compare it to.

Oh- I love it! A lavender house! It makes me think of Miami Beach with the pastel houses in a row. What fun! My own house is boring old white with green shutters and accents. xo Diana

My house is chippy peeling white. When we can finally afford to put new siding on I want it to be the palest grey! Your house is lovely!

My house is dark green with a bright green front door. It is new to us since last August (almost a year now :D ) The sellers painted it for their selling curb appeal and it worked. We love it!!!

You have a pretty home and I think the lavender will look great! My house is just a plain Jane red brick. We're going to get a new roof put on soon and have contemplated painting the brick but decided it's too much work and upkeep.

Your home is lovely. Love the shade of lavender!
Our home is stucco and brick. ; )

We have a house we rent out to people and it is getting a new paint job this summer. I picked out a gray color with black trim. Hope it ends up looking OK.

We are chickens and our house is painted white. With brick accents. I think your house will look just lovely and I especially am intrigued by your garage screens. Is that what they are? What a clever idea! Ann

It's BEAUTIFUL. We live in a corner terrace house (most people here do...) and have about 22 feet of land on one side. OUrs was painted 6 months ago with white on top and light terracota brown at bottom. But i think purple is really fun too. Happy weekend soon..big hugs :)
