We all treasure our ‘precious gems’!
I love having beautiful things on my dresser and nightstand!
I have collected vintage glassware
and even old jewelery boxes
to hold some of the vintage jewelry that I have...
But what are my precious gems?
All of you!
I get the best ideas from visiting my favorite blogs each day!
Today I went to Graphics Fairy and saw a beautiful project
by Girl in Pink ! So I saved an image from Graphics Fairy
and made this little card to hold an old clip on earring!
I distressed the card using brown KIWI shoe polish because Vicki at Rusty Rooster Vintage had just posted THIS POST showing us how! So now I have another way to display my treasures, using something I already had!
Thank you very much for being sweet blog buddies and sharing your wonderful ideas! What’s next?
I’m joining Suzanne for Vintage Thingy Thursday and
Brambleberry Cottage for Time Travel Thursday
And Thrifty Thursday!
I am joining Diann for Thrifty Things Friday , too!
Do you get ideas and learn new techniques
from your favorite blogs?

Such treasures! Love the card you made. So glad the shoe polish came in handy.
That is the favourite thing about blogging friends ~ we share ~ we enjoy and life is wonderful with all of you ~ (((Hugs)))
Oh, you are so right, there are so many wonderful things out there in blog land to be found and most are happy to help and share. Your display is just amazing on your dresser. Love it.
my husband's first car was a ford falcon too, he had to pull it out of his uncle's field, had no floor, and did not run. If he could get it to run, he could have it. It ran, no floor and all!!!
Happy VTT!
Our 'sisters' are amazing what they share & teach us ... & vice cersa. Love your dresser & treasures.
Have a lovely eve ~

Hello Diane! I love some items in your dresser. I particularly love the classic gold mirror and the white doll on the right. ;-) Your place looks so neat and organized. Have a great day ahead!
There are so many talented bloggers out there. I think you are one of them.
Hi Diane,
Yes, there is so much inspiration out there in the blog world and lovely to see what you and everyone is up to.

It is true...sweet ideas abound in Blogdom. What a nice way to use and display your treasures.

I love the card you made! Being inspired through blog reading is part of my everyday life now. It makes me happy- and so do you!
Lots of pretty things here! I love the graphic you chose and how you finished it. It turned out so lovely!
Such a beautiful post. Lots of eye candy. I've been scrolling up an down admiring all your pictures. I love Graphics Fairy too.
Enjoyed so much seeing all the pretty things that hold such a special place with you. Everything is just perfect the way you are using them. Continue to enjoy whatever pleases you.
How I wish I had some craft or recipes to pass on, but I don't. In these later years I just stopped doing all that. I tried getting into scrapping but that is on hold too. A house? I think I will build a house...and when I get started I will show you step by step...how much I can mess up on a project! :)
I loved the card. AND the earring. It's beautiful, my dear!
You did good!
Hugs,
Mona

This card is an adorable way to display that cute earring!
I alos love your sweet bunny and the soap wrappers? Awesome and it gave me a great idea to design some beachy ones if I ever get my store up and running.
Nice to take a break and catch up with my blogging friends, I've missed you!
The shoe polish, that is a novel idea to me. I so love to visit and get ideas too. I have a glass salt cellar just like yours with The beads and earrings in. Neat way to display it.
