Looks like a lovely park. I haven't been to Fla in years. My mom used to have a place in Pompano Bch. We didn't get there much as I was still working.
I remember going to a park called Spanish River Park in Boca Raton. It was lovely!
We may get Spring someday here in NY! :)

I'm not familiar with Silver River. Florida has so many beautiful, unspoiled wildlife areas. Nice mosaics and is that you in the red canoe?
I'm glad you like the post with the sea shells. They are some of my favorite things too.
Have a good week,
Babs

Beautiful pictures Diane! I recognize a few places along the river, as we take our boat out there a few times every year. This area is a beautiful place to take a hike. Thanks for letting me know about the feature! You are such a good friend! Beautiful post!

How wonderful. I can almost feel the warmth of the day through your photos. It's still cool here, in fact we live in the town where the Boston Marathon begins. It's next week, and they said that they were happy that the temperatures would be cool for the runners.

Enjoy your beautiful terrain. I used to love to hike the mountains in Hong Kong. It was quite hot there too, but I loved it anyway.

We floated down this pristine river and ate luch on the boat. The natural demarcation line between the Ocklawaha river and the Silver river is phenomenal. One is crystal clear and the other is brown and muddy. And those rhesus monkey's are everywhere... and ..I have never seen such large gators as there. They are huge!Good thing they didn't build the Cross-Florida Barge Canal there or this beautiful piece of Florida would have been lost!
I am your newest follower. We Florida girls have to stick together!~Ames
