My ‘Other Self’!

Well...we all got a little unscheduled break from our blogs! Can you imagine how many people at blogger have been working ‘over time’?! I post ALL of my posts from Windows Live Writer so I am just going to Publish this one again and see what happens! I’m sure the next few days will be interesting!

Good luck blogger!

This was so thought provoking that I had to take part!

Karen at This Old House challenged us to do a post on

our ‘Other Self’! And it really made me think....

My other self is staying in a villa on this hillside...

Positano, Italy

positano

walking along the beach....

looking for shells!

My other self is pretty happy with my ‘real’ weight loss

so I’m wearing this new outfit

and these new shoes!

And I am wearing jewelry from Simple Daisy

and  Del's Shells !

(these are all on Etsy and in my Favorite items list!)

I’m happy that my hubby is by my side....

and doing this post has given me the realization that my ‘real’ life is very blessed and I am happy to have my dreams of Italy and the BEACH!

What does YOUR Other Self look like?

I challenge you to do a similar post

Go to This Old House and give her the link to your blog post and she’ll put it under the hot tub!  Let me know if you take the challenge!

Do you think you might learn something about yourself?

Come on, you can do it. It’s FUN!!!

I saw this on Karen's blog earlier and decided to take up the challenge for tomorrow's post. Such a fun idea!

I wasn't surprised to read that you realize your "real" life is very blessed, it shows in each and everyone of your posts!

But a vacation to Italy would be fun and I can just imagine all the treasures you'll find there.

Yes, it really does give a gal something to think about. I think my other self is doing a lot of the same things my real self is doing. She just has more energy.

That is super sweet Diane....I think my other self would be very reflective of this self, except I would be on a beach with a pina colda instead in my back yard with a blower and garbage can LOL!

Super post, Diane! Real life is good, but so nice to have dreams!
My other self would be a city girl rather than a suburban one, I think.

Hmmmm, my "other self" LIVES at the beach in a big house with enough room for my entire family! I'd take my grandkids out shelling every day, and Oh! the treasures we would find!

This is such a fun post Diane! Thank you for featuring my shell jewelry, too! I know a few of your favorites now.

I've been trying to comment since yesterday, but you know what happened, and then everything that was posted just disappeared for 24 hours or so!
I'm just glad everything is back in order. Ahhhhh!

Love ya lady!

My other self is me, right now, in Provence, France, teaching a watercolor workshop. I am trying to post as much as possible and one of my posts disappeared! Then after I re-posted, it came back! I am glad to hear that is was not just me. Also, just wanted to share that I could not pass up the lavender ice cream in a little ice cream shop in Roussillon, France. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I am living my dream (for now)

Well, this is very interesting - I was wondering if anyone would wish they were someone else, somewhere else. Perhaps there's a blogger out there that inspires - could we be some other place in time?
I think I would.

It WAS a fun challenge, wasn't it? Love that outfit. And I post using Windows Live Writer, too. But for some strange reason, it didn't work well using the photos I'd gotten from Pinterest, so I just used Blogger to post

I love your clothing and jewelry! So cute!!!! Congrats on your weight loss. Isn't it wonderful to try on clothes and they fit? I have about 15 to shed.....tis hard, but it can be done.

For me, I would love to be in Scotland...sitting on a green hillside and just taking in the fresh air and gorgeous surroundings.

It was a great challenge, wasn't it?! Really got me to thinking and it's been fun to meet other bloggers who I don't normally *cross paths* with...nice to meet you!

Karen's post was such fun and I'm so happy you took up her call to post one of your own. I know I read this the other day when blogger was having issues and it wouldn't let me comment. I had to come back and tell you how sweet it was to read that you feel so blessed in your real life — that's always a good thing!

I love Positano, but I think your other self would also be happy in our area. Goodness knows what went on in the blog sphere while I was absent but I have now come across a couple of posts hinting at problems!!!
I have just read and enjoyed all your posts I had missed, you have been busy. Happy anniversary and what great fun you have been having with webcams. :)
