I love sweet little chicks next to my computer!
Or a tiny rooster in a basket…
I might even have a ‘turkey’ lurking on a shelf!
But what about this colorful feathered friend!
Is she for REAL?
I blogged about seeing this chicken in a post HERE!!!
And today I’m joining Shelia at Note Songs
for a FUN Roosters and Chickens party!
You’ll always be singing a HAPPY TUNE when you visit
Shelia!!! Won’t you join us? ♥

We are getting rain, too. Yay!!

My dad raised chickens and roosters (and turkeys) of all kinds, even the exotic ones. My step mom collected chicken/rooster figurines and statues. When ever I see anything to do with chickens or roosters, it brings back fond memories of daddy and Doris.
Thanks for stirring my memories today :D
Love,
Della
That *is* a real chicken because he is looking in different directions in the two pics! He's a beauty, for sure. Love your other chicken/turkey vignettes - so happy!
Hugs,
Mary
I have the same chicks in my kitchen!
And that's a pretty chicken, for real.

The cutest chicks...I think the yard bird is real. Trish
He looks like a fighting cock who is on the run and hiding out. I always keep a list of the wild creatures that I see in my yard. He's a beauty!~Ames

I hope that someone found their bird -- he is just beautiful and I would be sick if I lost him. What a SURPRISE that must have been -- he matched perfectly with the autumnal colors. Joni

Love those little chicks! I collect chicks, partly because we raise chickens, partly because they are so darn cute! A chick was the first pet my dad every let me have, so maybe that's part of it too...
Wow! Gorgeous chicken... rooster?
That is the prettiest chicken I have ever seen. Just beautiful.
