It wouldn’t be the holiday season without a trip to the Gulf for Grouper!
And some fun holiday decorations!
Peck’s is our favorite place to eat fish and if that’s not enough fun,
we saw Christmas balls hanging on the palm trees all along the road out there. (it’s in the ‘boondock’s)
And don’t hate me, but this is becoming a common sight, too!
What’s your favorite fruit….or fish?
Happy Holidays!

Happy holidays dear x
I love fried grouper. Yum!!!
Brrr Baby, it's cold here today. It snowed last night and the winds blew 30-50 miles an hour. My fun party at school has been called off. Our schools closed, probably due to the wind more than the amount of snow. You look so cute in your shorts, out and about with your hubby, eating fresh fish. At this moment I am a bit envious.:):) I would love just one fresh orange...I buy very little fruit anymore, it have no flavor. Enjoy all the sun for us people up north who are soooo cold. xoxo,Susie
Cold and snow here. Enjoy Florida for me! I love the photo of you. Here I am, dressed in layers to keep warm, and you're in the land of palm trees! lol
I love asian apples - they are a combination of apple/pear and are SO good! Planked salmon is my favorite fish, but I'll eat just about any fish. Never had Grouper.
Bitter cold here in Chicago - still no snow. :-(
wow, what a treat for my eyes, we are in a blizzard, I have never heard or those oranges, today is our 40th wedding anniversary, so here we are snowed in! No going anywhere today!I wish I was where you are!
Can I say Both?
I love the Christmas balls hanging in the palm fronds.
reminds me of when we lived in Orlando...produce was the best...grapefruit for 5 cents at fruit stands.
I lived in Tallahassee for 24 years and seafood from the Gulf is all I eat..don't know why but it tastes better. Now that we live 2 hrs from TLH I don't eat it here..just when I go back Home. My favorite restaurant back then was Angelo's, about 25 miles south of Tallahassee..on the water..my favorite was flounder..they would cut the top into diamond shape (bite size)fry it and it was so good. Angelo no longer is the owner...have lots of good memories from there.
Smiles and hugs

p.s. that dog is so darn cute!
Ive never been a fish eater although I do like Scallops. My husband loves ALL kinds of fish.. My favorite fruit is a very ripe plumb :)
Merry Christmas :)

Looks like fun!! I don't do fish at all - stems from bad fish many years ago! But I do like fruit, It looks so warm and nice where you are. I'm thinking I might have to move down there for the winter. Dreams......
Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Yum, love me some grouper. We'll be down in FL next month and most certainly will enjoy some. And Buster looks downright cute!
This is orange season in California so no, I don't hate you at all. Aren't we lucky??
Hugs!
You ate my favorite fish- I think I have eaten at Pecks before- is it way out in teh middle of nowhere? It was some of the best grouper I have ever had- xo Diana
I love Pecks. Nope...not the same oranges...but I would not be surprised if they were ;)...my shot is on the road to Mt.Dora.
Looks like fun Diane. I love all fruit. Raspberries are my most fav though. I like halibut but usually always have crab, lobster or shrimp. YUM!
Hugs,
Jann
Grouper is a fave of mine too, although my very favorite is halibut. I love navel oranges, but haven't seen the red navels before. I'll look for them the next time I am out and about :)
