I can SEW…I can SEW!!!

I know you’re thinking, YES…we know already!

But I have to be in the ‘mood’ to really enjoy it!

I was so inspired by a new blogger Anastasia’s Arts and her beautiful creations that I tried to make one.

PMIMG_0321

She shared the pattern HERE and it was so much fun to make. It’s one of those creations that just comes to life as you put it together.

Thanks Anastasia for sharing your beautiful creation and your wonderful design.

I changed things on the shelf to enjoy my Fairy Cat and a ‘new’ doll I found at the thrift store. (I didn’t find a marking on her but her face and hands are bisque and her hair is like some of the rough twine I use…can’t think of the name of it! lol)

I love the Catherine Holman prints above the shelf, too!

I made the heart pincushion a long time ago (and the bear and little bird) and the sweet peg doll is from Elizabeth at Creative Breathing.

Visit Anastasia’s Arts HERE!

She is so talented. Tell me what you think of the fox she made and the whole set of Alice in Wonderland dolls!

Karen at This Old House has the Project 24 post up this morning HERE ! Snapshots taken each hour from bloggers around the world. It’s amazing!

You creative crafty seamstress! Good for you. Your fairy cat is just delightful. I might be handy with the glue gun and paint, but I can't sew at all. She's just darling.

You created a very cute angel cat! Your entire shelf is loaded with sweetness. How your grandgirlies must love to visit. Do they visit your blog? Off to see this Snapshots idea...sounds intriguing.

First off, I love the new banner. The thumbs up snowman is adorable and of course you can sew, didn't doubt it for a minute. Your little cat fairy is just another one of the wonderful things you've made. I visited Anastasia's Arts and found the site delightful and will be returning there often.
Enjoy this last week of the year. Hugs

What an adorable fairy cat, I'm so glad you found something to motivate you back into sewing. I went back through your recent posts, and WOW, I can't believe how many shells were on that beach!!! The snowman blowmold on the docks is hilarious. It looks like you had a lovely Christmas, warm like us here in Arizona (ok, at least I think it's warm) When I recently went up to see the snow I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans and everyone else was giving me funny looks. I wanted to wear shorts, but my husband said people would just bother us with comments, so I didn't.

Have a lovely new year pretty lady.

Hugs,
Meri

Wow Ia m impressed. This looks amazing. I don't own a sewing machine and I am always said that my grandmother and my older aunts are wonderful seamstresses, but my mom never learned to sew. I made the most awesome clothes for my Barbie's but always hand sewed them.

A very Happy Happy New Year is sent to you Diane! We have just hit a bump in the road, my daughters new husband just had open heart surgery so this year we counted many blessings as he made it through it safe and sound.
Looking towards blogging and catching up with you more in 2013!

Good job! I was just up in my sewing room a little while ago, putting my machine back into the sewing table setup. It got a needed tune-up at the shop a week ago! I'll go zip off and check your links.
