This is a Test “Owl”

I stepped out of my comfort zone and tested a pattern for a special lady. Her blog is HERE.

It was fun and I tried to follow the directions exactly as written.

Everything went really well and I was happy with the results.

The only thing I thought might make the pattern even better would be adding numbers to the pattern pieces. The first time you make one, it would help.

I used felt that I had on hand so I didn’t follow the colors exactly but everything else is as written.

What a sweet little owl.

He’s happy no matter where he goes!

I love owls, don’t you?

Thanks so much for this opportunity, Audrey!

She’ll have the patterns for sale soon.

Have you ever tested a pattern?

The owl is sweet, a kind of pocket pal.
I've just been going through the blogs I follow on Bloglovin and a few like yours are not showing your posts in my daily list. :-(. I'll have to look I to this.

No, I haven't, but he turned out so cute that it must have been a good pattern. Numbers always help me. I'm challenged. =D

Hi Diane! Oh, you did good! That's a darling little owl! I agree, sometimes the authors of the patterns think we think like them!

Your little owl turned out great. I haven't tested any patterns except one I try to write down. I write them down, leave them for awhile and then try them myself before I decide to add it to my blog.

I love the lil owl, how cute he is. And it seems he is not to difficult or time consuming. And YES he looks happy sitting anywhere :)

He is adorable ! Never tested a pattern, no....I am not experienced enough. I have run into one or two ( such as a doll one in Mollie Makes magazine awhile back ) that gave me troubles and when I inquired I found out that it was not me after all but the instructions were not correct. LOL and ME the sewing idiot pointed that out ::)

What a cute owl!! I've seen them popping up everywhere. I haven't tested someone else's pattern before, but many years ago...I made patterns and sold them at the sewing shop that I worked at.
