Even though it’s still hot here and the air conditioner is still running, I’m ready to decorate for Fall.
I worked on a shelf above some of my vintage children’s books and made a little ‘owl vignette’.
(for those that like to see the titles of the books)
And of course, it’s always fun to play with at least one photo on picmonkey.
I love this space effect, don’t you?
I’m joining Beautiful Sunday,
and Amaze me Monday!
Happy Fall, y’all!

Beautiful! I really love the space effect photo. We had a slow rain all day Sat. and today it is crystal clear and cool!
Happy fall, Diane! i think a nice moderate autumn sounds lovely, which means that Florida must cool a bit and Maine must warm a titch.
your Fall decor is beautiful, I will try and send some cold air your way!
That last picture is Halloween worthy!
Your vignette does indeed make it a Beautiful Sunday!
Happy Fall Diane! Yesterday it was cold and rainy up here, but today the sun is shining brightly!
It is all so pretty! You live in a wonderful part of the world!

Happy fall to you - down under here we are welcoming in spring. Always seems so weird seeing other side of world season difference.

I have been clearing things away so that I can bring out the autumn decorations. They are my most favourite colours in the year. Valerie
It's darn cool here today Diane, hard to think of you still with the A/C on. You might be able to have your own lending library for neighbours with the variety of books you have.
Owls from outer space? I like that effect from PicMonkey.
Happy Autumn.

Pretty and fun touches of Fall! I should spend some time and experiment with more of PM's different effects.
It feels like fall here! I love your cute owl vignette and decor. It is adorable. Have a happy week!
I see lots of vintage books that I have ... Trixie Beldon was a favourite of mine. Enjoy Fall in the sunny south.
Cute mosaic! Happy Fall! We finally have a touch of cooler weather today. Loved seeing your books, like old friends of mine -- Bobbsey Twins, Cherry Ames, Did I see a Nancy Drew? And happy Hollisters! Have you found them at antique shops or are they from your childhood?
I haven't tried the space effect yet. It's neat, and your Fall decorations with the children's books are so cute. Have a great week.
That last photo is just FUN, Diane. Love your sweet take on Autumn and you KNOW I love your old books! xo Diana
I enjoyed browsing your blog, we have a lot of things in common! I have a lot of children's books too.
Are you in Ocala? (I saw the thrift store address) We are in Palm Coast, probably a couple of hours away.

When you live in southern California you have to remind yourself that much of the country is dealing with cool nights, possible frosts and leaves changing colors.
It really felt like Fall here today...it was in the low 60's. Perfect weather for our trip to the Flea Market.
Love your owl vignette. I put my Fall stuff out a few days ago.
hugs,
Cindy
You have a wonderful collection of children's books, Diane! I also have a soft spot for children's books and saved many of my own and those of my children. I can see you have a "Cherry Ames Student Nurse" book -- one of my favorite series when I was young!
I love your owls. We will be heading to Ft. Myers very soon and am looking forward to it!
That's such a lovely owl display - fun!
Yes - of course we want to read all the titles of the books from your childhood!
I wonder if you pick them up and read them again?
Wishing you a happy fall!
Shane
Hi, Diane ... hope you don't mind if I use your 'space owls' for my computer wallpaper; they're so cute!

Yippee for fall! You know I'm smitten with those owls!
Hi there namemate! First, I love your new blog header. It captures my favorite color and looks so refreshing to the eye.
I can see your dolls again!! Is that a character from The Toy Story? The last photo is so cute! Heehee looks like someone is trying to play hide and seek :)
Have a great week namemate!

Well Owl be Darned if that space effect photo isn't as cute as can be! :)
What a lovely collection of children's book! That owl display is just too fun!

Your fall decorations look so pretty.. I just love this time of year..

I love your lineup of vintage children's books and recognized some from my own past. What fun you had with PicMonkey - such a great effect. Happy Fall!
It's still hot here in Mississippi, too! I'm so ready for Fall!!! Love your collection of vintage children's books!!!
Could that be a Greek doll in the left hand corner? I have been looking for one for a long time, as I am part Greek. I love 'Jess' on Toy Story. My daughter, Jess, used to have her when she was young. She would love your collection of vintage children's books, as she is teaching Elementary school now.

Those Owls are just way too cute!!!
