I had so much fun this weekend with the photo challenge HERE that I thought I would create a mosaic without using textures!
It might look like a texture but it’s actually a leaf caught on the screen outside one of the windows of our condo here in Western NC.
(when I look back at these photos, I realize I used a paint effect in the top left photo in my mosaic…the sky wasn’t blue enough! lol)
I’m joining Beautiful Sunday,
and Amaze me Monday!
The leaves are flying off the trees this week!
Do you have any pretty Fall color
left in your trees?

LOVE your leaf mosaic...very creative. Our leaves are mostly all gone here. Still no snow though!
LOVE your leaf mosaic. Nicely done! Our leaves are mostly gone. There's a few left on the Elm trees, but we have no snow yet.
Pretty leaves! Our leaves are mostlly gone, except for the oaks. It's looking very November around here.
Our leaves are all down now. Your mosaic turned out great.
we still have a lot of green, but the browns are beginning and the yellows have, too.
The trees in our little town, where I went yesterday, were full fall glory.
Not much colour in our trees this year with the stormy weather we have experienced on the coast Diane. I have just enjoyed everything posted on Blogland instead!
Happy Sunday,
Nice to look at a perfect leaf peeping into your room. You think that's something...I have about a dozen flies outside on my screen. ...gross out !
Thank you sweet Diane, for the post card...you touched my heart.xoxo,Susie
Almost all our leaves have fallen in Chicago. But in KY, we still have quite a few left yet.
Our foliage seemed to peak last week and with the chilly nights and some good breezes, they are falling quickly. But, oh isn't fall grand in North Carolina! XOXO
Not much color left here. I was trying to capture those leaves flying off the trees. It harder than you would think to get the right shot.
Now that's really neat Diane. I have notice the nice texture that screens give a photo too. The leaves are long gone here and it's actually snowing this afternoon and sticking to the grass, roofs, decks etc!! Have a nice evening. Hugs, Pam
So pretty. Isn't it amazing that there can be such beauty in the smallest of things, even a leaf on a screen!
Thanks so much for being a part of AMAZE ME MONDAY!
Blessings,
Cindy
It has been a windy weekend, so many of the leaves are falling. We did not see a colorful Autumn. Sad to say a lot of browns and maybe a few colors here and there. I love your pretty leaves. Have a happy week ahead.
Still plenty of color up high, but a lot is coming down!
Great photo on the leaf on the screen ... nature always amazes me. We have had some powerful winds this week-end .. the trees are bare :( ... happy Sunday..Hugs, c. (HHL)
no color here yet. enjoy those falling leaves!
Nothing like using a natural texture, the screen gave the leaf and tree a nice touch. Our leaves have fallen, been collected and are in the compost bin now.
Those red leaves are so vivid, they don't look real. Beautiful.
Diane,
Love the leaf on the screen! It looks as if the wind blew it there on a blustery day!
Have a lovely week!
Neat photos, no there are not leaves on the trees:( Have a wonderful week. Jen
Hi Diane, I love that shot of the leaf on the screen and a lot of leaves have fallen and turned brown. My mums have died too! It was so cold and rainy here today. I miss the 60 - 70 degree weather. I don't like winter either when it is 17 degrees and I'm outside walking the dog! I do like snow but not to drive in either. Oh well thanks for listening to me vent! Lol. Take care and enjoy your week.
Julie
A few trees here and there still have foliage. Fall came late and that is why, but in the last few days most have dropped...it's becoming bare and gloomy.
I like your little leaf friend that came to visit :)
Diane, I looked back at your last post. I like what you did with the pictures. I mess around in PicMonkey but everyone in awhile I find an effect that I didn't even know was there. That's fun!! I haven't tried Ipiccy. I'd like to see what it has to offer. Our fall colors are disappearing too and it's getting pretty cold..I'm ready..Happy Sunday..Judy
That is a great mosaic, Diane. I love it. We have hardly any leaves left here on the trees. Any color that is left is mostly on the ground- xo Diana
Aren't Fall leaves just about the most beautiful sight? Sorry to say our leaves here in the NE are pretty much all on the ground.
You did a great job of photographing the leaf thru the screen. When I try shots like that, I usually just walk away. lol. There is a yellow leaf laying on the very tiny ledge of my security door that I keep looking at, but just walk off from. If still there tomorrow I may try a shot or 2. Thanks for the inspiration.
Have a great week.
This was so creative of you!I read your post and you said no textures and then I saw the leaf and thought-hum. Beautiful red leaves! Not much color in North Texas-so sad...
Autumn Hugs,
jemma
Love your through the screen shots!
YOur red leaves are just gorgeous! I'm hungry for that color. I am seeing it a bit, but I think it's poison ivy.
Enjoy those falling leaves ..I love them
Hugs x

I love the pretty red leaves that blew off the trees.

We have mostly leaves on the ground..lol Rake, rake and more raking Neat mosaic. Happy Veterans Day!
Hahaha, I think you and a lot of others have textures on the brain now!
What a great mosaic, I want to do more experimenting, just need to make time. :)
