We were here in NC last Spring and saw the cutest little baby ducks!
We took bread to crumble and feed them all….
we watched them grow…
they were ‘our’ babies.
Imagine our surprise when they all came running swimming to us this week at the park.
They remembered us!
Now if we can just remember to take the bread next time we go to the park. We’re BAD parents! heehee!
Aren’t they sweet?

The ducks are really sweet. Sounds like you had fun ~ mental note ~ must bring bread ;-)
The ducks are adorable. We tend to forget the bread for the ducks when we go down by the bay until we are half way there :)
I love Ducks, would love to have a pond full of them. I put your blog on my page, could you tell me how to make a button? My email is barbarad@aol.com
Thanks
Barb
Much as they love it,bread is bad for birds...try cracked corn...Holy Moly, they'd kill for it!

They know the good guys when they see you!
And it sounds like they will have you trained in no time.
How wonderful.
SO fun to watch Gods creations grow.
Woolie Blessings to you Friend
How sweet that the ducks would remember you. We had 2 in our backyard pond one spring but they didn't stay because of our dog.
Haha, they have you trained!
We had the cutest ducklings and goslings on our pond and also fed them some bread (and cracked corn). A friend, who is a Naturalist at a park said the bread is like our junk food--no wonder they loved it. XOXO
I love duck pictures in the water. They are always good pictures. It's fun watching them.
Really nice duck photos. Those babies are so cute!
Yes, they are so sweet!!!
Blessings,

Oh my, this was just too precious! Thank you for sharing :) Hugs!
Such sweet photos of the ducks. We see a few in the bay when we walk along the beach, but I don't think they are the same ducks each time.
Lovely photos thanks for sharing x

What a cute post. I bet you just giggled when they swam up to you. I would have. Enjoy this week. xoxo,Susie

They are so sweet, but for food, better to feed them lettuce.

They are so cute. Great photos! We used to live by a park with ducks. I miss those. :)
A sweet story. Often we do not give animals enough credit. The drake is quite handsome.
Too funny Diane! I bet they did remember you. You will have to let us know next time you visit them!
Awwww, that is so sweet :)
Aww they so cute
Hugs x
Yes of course they remembered you, it was nothing to do with the fact that a human sighting normally means food. How could you forget. :)
