How embarrassing!

I was having so much fun making cute little animals that hubby said, “Can you make me a monkey?”

SURE! I’ll make you the cutest baby monkey there ever was!

Baby monkey stayed on the ‘cutting board’ for 2 weeks or more.

I tweaked him thisa way….and tweaked him thata way.

Then I finally MADE myself finish him.

And then he laughed!

No not the baby monkey!

MY HUBBY!

He laughed that great big…down deep….belly laugh.

Then I laughed until tears streamed down my face.

Baby monkey was swinging from the tree in the lanai! (it got wild in the lanai)

Now he’s hiding!

Prudence from The Bear’s Blog was the only one that knew about him.

Now the whole world knows.

How embarrassing!

LOL! And WHAT is embarrassing about him? The fact that hubby WANTED a monkey...or that he doesn't LOOK like a monkey....or that you made a monkey out of yourself? lol xo Diana

Oh Miss Lavender Dreams, my mohair, he is the cutest little baby monkey we have ever seen. Why is he so shy? Or is it that you won't let him have his picture taken.

Come on, you know Mom said they are not easy to make, Mom has one in progress, let's see now, 2 years maybe?

Maybe he will get brave and come and swing on a branch so we can see him. He looks so cute. I'll be his friend.

Hugs,
Prudence ♥

Oh, Mr. Lavender Dreams, it isn't nice to laugh at a baby monkey. Two words to remember "pay back". (o:

Ah, I think Baby Monkey was tweaked to perfection! I bet he enjoys swinging about your lanai (which I thought was a funny word I first heard on The Golden Girls... remember them?... )

I love that you and your husband enjoy laughing together. Now you should name that little monkey after your husband. xoxo,Susie
