We travel the back roads of America on our trips.
And nothing gives us more joy than seeing sights like this along the way.
It slows you down and keeps the stress level down, too.
OKAY everyone!

Aww so sweet..I love it so much x
I too love the back roads ride and all there is to see! Beautiful pictures!
Oh, this made my heart sing today, Diane. What great pictures these are. It reminded me of when I went to church this week, and when I walked out the door, there was a family of turkeys just walking through the parking lot. I was so bummed because I didn't have my camera, but I enjoyed it just the same. I love to see pictures of your back roads and hikes and walks. They are simply lovely.

So beautiful, Hup two three, Blessings Francine.
This post reminds me to take a walk to our neighborhood duck ponds! With treats of course. What a lovely place.
Hugs,
Emily
I love seeing animals in the wild. We have the deer, skunks, raccoons, bunnies and wild turkeys. But I don't like 200 buzzards, coyotes. Heaven forbid that we would have the wild hogs. Enjoy all your trips.......
Owwww so cute.....xxx !
They must be taking themselves for a walk! Great shots!
ai love the fence and that tree is beautiful. Hve a nice week
LOVE these photos! You have a good eye for photography.
We love to take back roads on our travels as well - in the US as well as in other countries. I have the feeling that you see so much more of the country and area than if you're rushing on the big highways.
I'm with you Diane! I love to see wildlife on my walks and travels and if the camera is handy, it becomes another photo op! These photos are great! Enjoy the rest of your day!

Such a pretty scene! I just love that blooming tree and how sweet are those waddling geese? Thanks for your kind visit, too. I am a new follower :) xo Hugs, Karen
I love the trees! Crape Myrtle? I snapped some geese just like yours the other day. They even walked up to my car looking for a hand out! lol! It was at a park where they have gotten spoiled. :) Pretty photos!
We drive slow too well except when on the freeway. LOL
One sees so much more and the photo ops are there. MB
hahaha, I love these! Those Canadian geese are so funny to watch. I love how you captured the scenes, including the road and the beautiful, old crepe myrtle. Wonderful perspectives that tell a story!
Please don't forget to link up tomorrow morning, when the linkup gadget is active.

Great photos Diane. I too love seeing animals/birds when I travel. That's one gorgeous tree too!
Really great photos, it looks to me like you do 'stop to smell the roses' along the way. Best, Sharon at fitandhealthybabyboomers.blogspot.com
Looks like these guys chose a great spot to take a stroll, a walk in the park is always relaxing.
How pretty it looks with the geese running around. Have a wonderful weekend.
Julie
Back roads are the best way to travel...country roads at that! I never tire of seeing geese or ducks, you are right it lowers the stress levels.
Hope you have a good weekend!
Calling by from the APPC today, the back roads are always less stressful and scenic.
Hi Diane - your geese and crepe myrtles look very much like the ones in my immediate neighborhood - the trees we love but the birds are so messy and too many! Fortunately the ponds are far enough away we don't get them on our street!
Great shots - hope your weekend is fun - heavy rain here again this morning but at least the grass has remained green this Summer - perhaps I shouldn't let on about that or those darned geese will stop by for a nibble!
Hugs - Mary
Diane - nice geese but I was looking at that beautiful crape myrtle - like a tree!! Awesome!
Ah yes... Those geese can be very entertaining. These are excellent and colorful shots.
Ahh- geese- so cute! great shots.
Great shots...Geese aren't known to be still! And the Crepe Myrtle tree! How gorgeous! I love them. Thanks for the shots!
Those Canada Geese are so photogenic. Great shots, Diane.
