I’ve received evidence that the Wild Wild West has gotten even wilder this week!
Look at the photos I received in an email!
My second son, his wife and son and my youngest son are in New Mexico this week!
And here was the message,
You sure are a good looking bunch of kids!
Wish we were there, too! Safe travels! Have FUN!!!

How fun to have the photos to compare! Time does fly...1984 doesn't seem that long ago! Lol
Sounds like they are having a wonderful adventure in the wild wild west!

Oh how wonderful is that? I love that camping gear they have on top of the jeep? What is that gadget? I need one of those, really. Would it fit on a Tahoe? Great looking bunch!
What a good looking group! Hope they're having a great time.
I couldn't help but hum the tune of The Wild Wild West series with Robert Conrad and Ross Martin while reading your post.
They sure are having fun :-)
Have a lovely weekend Diane,

Isn't it nice to know the kids are enjoying themselves and are together even when We parents can't be there ? I love the beauty of New Mexico. Now I can say....Merry Christmas Diane :) Hugs to You-Denise
Such beauty out west. Now what is the tent on top of the car. I see a ladder. They don't sleep on the top of the car.
Hope your holiday weekend has been nice. When I see Santa I will tell him about the dolls.
It's fun to see your family having so much fun! One of those guys looks a lot like his mom!
Oh, I know they're having fun and I know you wish you were there with them. Yes, they grow up so fast it's hard to keep up!
Nice looking family, Diane.

We loved our trip our west. Such amazing memories with our girls. I love these photos. Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. I'm getting caught up on blogs while we were away.
New Mexico looks pretty cold or should I say the travelers look all bundled up. Isn't the desert pretty? The grandchildren do grow up quickly and change so much, don't they?
What great shots! I like that little tent set up they have.
Looks like a great vacation they are on! :)
What fun photos and memories!
What fun memories!!
Lots of big smiles in the photos! Interesting tent set-up. I'm trying to figure out the reasoning for putting your tent up there ... flooding? animals? because they can? Maybe it's an American thing ;) Wendy x
What great pictures of your family. And you are right, time does fly!
What handsome men you have in your family, Diane. Yes, they do grow up fast. I can't believe my oldest is 33!
love,
~Sheri
Diane, I have to ask...your grandson, who is in the last picture, it looks like he's wearing the exact same clothes, hat and all, as his father was? Am I seeing things? I had to look a few times because I thought it was the same person! I still do! lol
Very cool photos. Were you near Gallup or Sky City? xoxo I once lived in north eastern Arizona/ north west New Mexico.
This is so fun, Diane! Back to the same place 30 years later. Wouldn't it have been fun to be there too. Wonderful photos. Have a blessed Lord's Day.
Oh, wish I were with them! Beautiful scenery. Such handsome 'boys'! They do grow up fast! xo Karen
It IS fun to look back at old photos of the kids!! That Pup tent on top of the car is NEAT!!!! To stay away for the critters???? Snakes??? and whatever???
Love seeing some of your family! At last! :-) And such beautiful landscape.. wow...
what a wonderful idea to share old and new images of same place with your loved ones there. I was in hospital part of this week, so just now catching up~
