Happy Thanksgiving Blessings!

We are very blessed to be spending Thanksgiving week in the mountains of NC.

mtsIMG_2873

It’s been wonderful to visit with family and to spend time in our condo.

The mountains put on a wintry show for us this week.

We woke up to snow on the mountains!

So even though it was cold and the wind was blowing a gale, I went in and out taking photos from my balcony!

When the clouds lifted off Mt. Pisgah, I could even zoom in on the tower.

Later a wispy cloud formed on the tower and gave me another ‘photo op’!

I wanted to share this Fall Cross Stitch I did many years ago. It hangs above my sink in the kitchen.

I didn’t want to take it down (it’s hanging straight right now) so my pics aren’t the best.

I’m wishing you a joyous Thanksgiving week. We are all blessed no matter what the challenges of life. And I hope this is your best Thanksgiving ever. I’m going to take a little break and catch up with you when we get back to the Sunshine State (and thaw out)! heehee!

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

Diane, we just returned from Thanksgiving in NJ. I believe it was warmer in NJ than NC this year. Returning to Florida will warm you up! :-)

hope y'all had a lovely thanksgiving my friend! Love the pretty pictures....the scenery is so pretty isn't it and so different from florida and south carolina? we went recently as well and the trees were starting to turn, which we dont get in charleston, so it was so beautiful to take a long ride through the mountains. I'd forgotten JUST HOW BIG THE MOUNTAINS ARE, lol. Hope you are enjoying your time away and getting in some relaxing, reading, photographing, hiking, the things y'all enjoy---and sure looking forward to you going home and posting again too! cant believe Christmas is getting so close!--oh, and i put my dolls in their lil christmas dresses last night and thought of you doing the same here soon too!
