I've always heard this was the easiest test. So here goes.
In the past one month....
1. I've become a talented singer and musician.
2. I've become a world famous artist.
3. I've received the 'best housekeeping' award.
4. I've become proficient at watercolor markers.
5. None of the above.
Well, I told you it would be an easy test! The answer will appear at the bottom of this post if I can remember by then to include it! lol
I'm still enjoying my hikes! If you'll remember I had to face the fact that I couldn't go EVERY day! lol I tried but I was just too tired to do all the other things I wanted to do. And of course I needed to concentrate on becoming a world famous artist before I reach the age of 70.
My fav so far is Piglet! I sketched him in with pencil, then went over that with a pen. I drew a 'honey' pot and some flowers. Then I decided he needed a bouquet of flowers, so I sketched, colored, cut and glued them on! The butterfly is cut out too and has a little foam sticky on the back to set it off the page.
And oh the fun I'm having with watercolors! I've even ordered a small set of 'real' watercolors and can't wait to try them out. I'm using markers and then a brush with water to spread the color. And I'm learning every day. I've always taught myself to do things over the years. I taught myself to knit and crochet and COOK! lol
Pooh has more color than I wanted but I'm learning! His honey pot and honey and also the bees are cut out and adhered with a little foam backed sticky.
So I'm just experimenting with the ideas that keep coming up in my head. I am sketching...which I've never done before! And then adding color. With what I'm doing, I don't think it needs to be perfect to be fun. And I like the results.
So if you guess 5. None of the above...you would be right on!
But if I could add another number it would be
6. I'm having FUN! And that would sum it up for the whole year.
Have you been doing any kind of arts and crafts? It keeps life interesting!
A. Now where's that mop and broom!
OR
B. What's on the 'drawing board' now?

How good to enjoy life! I am encouraged every time I see what you are up to and I feel blessed because I have my own sample of your work.
All of your art is wonderful Diane ...Love All the crew from the Hundred Acre Wood (could you do Eeyore? I do a great Eeyore voice.) And I see you have started on Beatrix Potter, more favorites . Obviously I’m a great lover of children’s literature . (At my age, I feel like I need to explain that I always have loved it, never outgrew it ...I really not going through my second childhood!). Oh and I passed the test easily. ))
You are inspiring me with all this fun you are having. I have always loved to dabble in art.
...keep filling your days with color!
Beautiful work ! This is so exciting for you because of your beautiful surroundings and your daily hikes a small watercolor journal and travel paints would open up even more joy! You have really accomplished sketching skills! Always fun to find a new passion! I knew had started , I'm so happy for you!
wow, I am impressed and I did guess the answer, because I KNEW IT! love the way they jump off the page from being cut and glued.. if you are looking for something to do with your creations, how a bout a childrens hospital for the kids there.
Diane, I love that you are having fun. You will truly enjoy your "real" watercolors. I love to watercolor...but haven't in a long time. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
Well I think your art is amazing Diane. I have always wanted to take art lessons and I have watched a few You Tube classes online but I still have not mastered it. I will keep trying though.
I love the water colors. I have been away from all my crafts and home improvement things for a while and now getting back into them. Hopefully I will have something to show on the blog soon. For now we are getting our garden in shape for planting.
Hello,
I love your Piglet and Pooh! Well done! I am number 5 & 6 too. Having fun is my favorite thing to do. Happy Monday, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy new week!
Diane, I love watercolor to start with and add Winnie the Pooh and it is magical. Great work. Have a great week. Sylvia D.
I am blown away by your art! My goodness gracious! Your sketching is amazing! Love the colors! And yes, you will love the watercolor sets. The tube watercolors are good too and you can get them on sale at Hobby Lobby oftentimes. I love that you’re making cards! What a gift! Art and encouragement all in one envelope! You may want to try acrylics in time to come. I admire both mediums but am not proficient at either. I started my art life in oils and that is still my medium of choice. My sister, Deanie, gave me back a small Santa painting that was really dark. I tried to fix him last month but I only made it worse. The other day I bought some oven cleaner and sprayed it down good. This dissolved the heaviest layers of paint and I intend to redeem that Santa this week! Never give up on a project.
I love you joy and passion! Happy painting!
I love your Joie de vivre! Your art is so delightful and I'm hoping you're going to keep sharing the results of your talent. This was a fun post!
Hi Diane, wow for someone who just started drawing and doing watercolors with markers you have created some beautiful cards. It does look like fun and I want to sit down and maybe try it too.
Hope you enjoy the week.
Julie
I am fascinated with these watercolor markers! Oh, you made Winnie the Pooh cards. He's so delightful, and you did a great job with this project. Love those little bees swarming around Pooh. You're having so much fun with these markers and learning and creating. My answer is number 5 too hehehe.

Diane, I love your zest for learning. Your cards are darling. Each one brings a smile. I can't wait to see Peter Rabbit and friends. Keep having fun!
Owww They are beautiful...i looooove pooh !!...happy week love Ria 💕
What fun my friend. I love watercolors and have taught myself a little bit. I need to get back to it myself. Yes life is for living and finding some fun along the way.
wonderful I couldn't draw the picture let alone paint it.
Cathy
You are very talented with your drawing and painting. Really!!
I think you did a fantastic job.
I'd have to pick number 6 also! :)
I think you have totally mastered water colors. I have all the tools but haven't had time to use them. I've discovered an easy way to do housework - get rid of all your dishes and just use paper plates! Just kidding. But my hubby would do that if I weren't around.
These are awesome. You are really good at that. The fact that you are having fun too makes it even better

Diane, your paintings are so adorable! Great job!
We all need a creative outlet and you are accomplished in several! Love the Pooh creations!!
Diane - I don't think you are giving yourself enough credit! These are gorgeous watercolors … and I like how you have added an element of 3-D by gluing some of the pieces onto the page with the sticky foam. I am still working my last few cross-stitch Christmas ornaments, and some drawing - quite pedestrian when I look at your creations! Thanks for sharing your colorful characters with Mosaic Monday!
This is really fun! Good work.
Beautiful work Diane...your “Pooh” drawing are adorable.... and I can’t wait to see the Beatrix Potter cards...Go Girl Go ... I truly believe that if you don’t try then you will never know if you can do it... So how inspiring to see you trying new and exciting avenues.Creativity is the best therapy for we older youngsters... We just need a little practise learning new tricks..then watch out( ha ha)...This was such a fun post Thank you for sharing , Sweet Lady....Hugs
I've been using watercolour pencils. I ordered some pens but haven't played with them yet. I'll never become a famous artist before I'm 70. I just hit that milestone last month. - Margy
Well done my friend. Goodness, you are doing so well. I love what I see on the last photo. :-) My favorite!!
Guess What? Wisconsin is in for a big storm. We are to get 1 foot of snow and 50 mile hour winds!! Wednesday - Thursday!!
I wonder if I leave now if I could make it to your house in time. LOL
Love you!!
Carla
Diane your art pieces are adorable. You might consider linking to Paint Party Friday
i link in with my amatuer hobby posts on a Friday😊
Have a good week
Much💛🌻💛love
I find that "real" watercolors are so much easier than the watercolor markers. It may be I am "doing" them wrong but I can't seem to make mine blend that way others do. Maybe it's the marker type and a little dry but I suspect it's me! I look forward to see more of your work!
You certainly are having some fun filled days :)
Love your art.
All the best Jan
I love to color in books that already have the drawings. I think I will pick that up again.
Your Piglet picture is just darling. How talented you are! You are definitely becoming a famous watercolour artist!
Aww... your Pooh and Piglet are just adorable. I wish I had a tenth of your drawing talent. I think that is why I love cross stitching because I feel like I'm being artistic even though I'm just making little x's :) Enjoy your evening!
Your watercolors are darling, Diane! They are very frameable and if you mount them on cardstock that would make adorable cards. My older granddaughter like to watercolor free hand but she often asks me to sketch a picture for her to color in, so I have been practicing drawing unicorns lately :)
Oh what fun for sure! Great sketches, would make beautiful cards. Does that mean there's been no housekeeping award issued in your house either?! Lol it will always be there!

OH my goodness, your sketches are so amazing! I am so happy I stopped by and thank you for stopping by my blog too.
You are so very kind visiting others. You are a real joy.
Your blog is so pretty. I am sorry I do not get over here as often as I need to.
I hope the rest of your week is wonderful. HUGS xo
Aww, these are delightful!
I love this, Diane!! I need to take watercolor lessons. They've always intrigued me. Your Pooh and Piglet remind me of the murals I painted on our youngest sons bedroom wall when he was about 4 years old. It was so much fun!
Aren’t tomboy markers great! Loved seeing your cards and artwork! Your drawings are wonderful! Hope you have a great day.
WOW! Your drawings are awesome. I think you are definitely talented! Keep drawing and share more of your pictures here.
