*Holiday Baking with Wednesday Wee Ones*

On the days I don't hike, I stay busy working playing around the house. I scrub and clean, get my laundry caught up, oh....and dress dollies!

Well, you know what they say! And I definitely don't want to be DULL!

So one day I dressed Noel in her pretty holiday dress and then made sure she had her apron and hat for her baking 'chores'. I made all of these little clothes, even the potholder, mitt and dishtowels.

I even made those gingerbread men....years ago!

And I got to meet M.A. Vessey years ago at an art show in Hendersonville, NC. She painted this Christmas scene.

I wanted to buy some little cookies but they all looked so fake! (at least the ones in my price range did! lol) So we're not sure what's in the oven but I'm sure it will be yummy! (we'll REALLY have to use our imaginations now)

So don't forget in this busy holiday season to

Take Time to Play!

I love your dolly. I have a doll collection, but I never thought to sit and dress them in different outfits. It would have been such fun. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Well any self respecting doll would not spend the holiday in clothes that weren't apropriate for the season :) She looks adorable in her outfit and I love all the accessories. That painting is beautiful

You are so right in saying we need to take time to play! Thank you for saying it to all of us. I can really get wrapped around the axle, so to speak, with so much to do at this time of year.

Your doll is absolutely beautiful and you did an excellent job sewing her wardrobe and accessories!!!

You are sooo talented. Did you see that Steve Carrell movie where he made cool scenes with his miniatures? It did seem like an expensive but satisfying way to use your creativity. I appreciate you stopping by and apologize for not getting it together enough to comment as often as I'd like. Hope you have a great weekend.

ADORABLE!!! I just love how you played with your little stove. They are especially fun to play with at Christmastime, don't you think? The red handles pair so nicely with the accessories. Love your cute little clothes for Noel. You are so talented, Diane.

Noel looks sooooo cute in her holiday baking outfit. She is all ready to bake with her hat, potholders, and oven. And you made the gingerbread men? They are so cute. What a sweet doll this is with her big blue eyes and braided blonde hair. : )
