My Fall Tag Journal

I wanted to make something special for Fall as a gratitude journal.

I've been keeping a list of things that have helped me through the pandemic.

So I used the list I had made to make different size tags to include in a tag journal.

It's a fun way to use smaller pieces of paper and it's a project you can work on a little at a time.

I get a bit overwhelmed with a huge project so this is perfect for me.

I've mentioned several times that Fall is my least favorite season but that just means that I make an extra effort to make it good. We are hiking more and making some new 'good' memories.

And I'm taking time to be thankful for all the people and blessings I had in the past few months.

The very first tag says Faith, Family and Friends.
(not pictured)

And when I got to a point that I wanted to stop, I made a list to include in the back of the tag journal.

These tags are on a ring with pretty silk ribbon and a leaf charm to finish it off.

Have you been artistic or creative this week?

It helps, doesn't it?

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays and

I like Thursdays HERE too!

This is such a creative idea with those small pieces of paper and fun too. These would be so cute sitting out in a bowl.

Hello,

Your tags look beautiful. I like the fall colors, textures and the pretty images. The ring, bird, fawn and the leaves. We are blessed.
Take care, wishing you a happy day!

WOWOWOWOW! I love your tag journal! This is such a fun idea with limitless possibilitities! I'm thinking a tag journal would make a lovely addition to a coffee table and would certainly be an ice breaker for conversation. Thanks for such a wonderful idea!

I never heard of a tag journal before, but since a very nice friend recently sent me a book journal that included many tags hidden in different compartments inside it, I now know what I can do with them. The larger tags are spread out around my house, on my mantle, and other places (a few creative ones). I smile every time I look at them. Today, I'm grateful for the good people of this country and glad I chose it as the place I wanted to live.

I never heard of a tag journal, but yours is very interesting. And yes, I believe that keeping busy with creative projects is the best way to get through a difficult time. Actually, I do my crafts all year long because I enjoy them so. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

What a wonderful idea. Creative and not overwhelming at all. I love the idea. I am starting to paint the interiors of windows this week before winter sets in. We have some new windows coming but the trim needs painting first. I am blessed to have warm rooms with clear glass to our park-like outside areas. xo Diana

I love this!!! I keep a prayer journal and got the idea to add things I am thankful for A to Z.....Tuesday A was attic fan. I just love the attic fan. Have had one since I moved here in 1967 and it brings me so much joy and lots of good memories. Wednesday B is Bible. I read it every day and have for the last 66 years. I learned to read from the Bible and taught my children to read from it too. Today is C and it has not come to me just yet what my word will be - but I will have one!!
Another thing I like to do is wrtite a verse that starts with the alphabet letter of the day.....A...etc. I'm going to do that in 23 days....

That is such a pretty way to remember that despite all the negatives, there is still much to be enjoyed and thankful for. I also like how you are finding the positive in your least favorite season.

Not only is it pretty but a great way to remind yourself of all the things you have to be thankful for. I like how they are all different sizes and the fall images and colors always appeal to me. Fun project.

Gorgeous!!!---love the tag journal! You make such pretty things my friend. I love seeing them all. Lots of fun stuff. I like those altered books you do as well. I liked the pretty collages on the previous post. Y'all sure see some pretty wildflowers on your hikes. We don't see those here really as we mostly walk about the city and there are really no wildflowers of course. We walked a big long hike this past weekend on a big old plantation and yes, we did see wildflowers that day. Hope you've had a good week your way?
