SpaceX Launch Photos

We watched the SpaceX launch of the 100th Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral carrying the Starlink V1.0-L15 one night last week.

That was a highlight of the week for sure!

The weather was perfect and the sky was clear.

Hubby gets credit for all of these neat photos! His camera (hand held and slow shutter) gave it some awesome effects!

I've mentioned that I'm still having headaches but I started a new allergy medication this week so I hope this solves the problem. It did not stop us from hiking though!

And of all things to see in the parking lot of the Florida Trails at the Pruitt Trailhead!

A SpaceX model of a Tesla.

We don't see that many Teslas anyway and how amazing to see this SpaceX! Maybe it was Elon Musk out for a hike on the Florida trails! You just never know! heehee! We didn't see anyone else hiking (we saw 3 people on bikes) but maybe he was FASTER than us and stayed way ahead of us on the trail! lol

Another cute Jeep at the HTP trailhead.

Which would you rather have? The Tesla or the Jeep? Or how about a horse?

We also saw 2 people riding horses and the horses were very beautiful.

Have you been able to get outside this week? I'm thankful for hiking weather here in Florida! 🌞

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays and

I like Thursdays HERE too!

I read my blogs using Feedly a Newsfeed and they're all in a list and when I saw the title and the picture I thought it was part of a news thing on the launch and I almost deleted it then I realized I saw your name there and read it. I am not a SpaceX blunt person either but these are absolutely excellent photos of it and Bob dips and in the front yard to watch it but we're not nearly as close as you so I don't think he saw what you saw. As for the car I've never even heard of one and if I was choosing from these three I would take the Jeep but I really want a Kia Soul. But since that's not one of the choices I'll take the Jeep. I'm too old to get on a horse. And too old to take care of one as a pet which I would love to do. And I don't know who the person was that with walking faster than you and would be driving the Tesla

I'd take the Jeep. I hope that new medication helps to get rid of your headaches. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Wow...I remember searching the sky for the first sputnik way back in the 50's. News kept us apprised of when it would be visible, and it was so fascinating to trace that streak across the sky overhead on a dark night. Fabulous photos...what an experience, I didn't realize you were so close. Hope you feel better, hugs, Sandi

Hello,

That is cool to see the space shots, the photos are great. I would prefer a horse. I have never been one that needed a fancy car, as long as it is safe and gets me where I want to go. I like my Toyota Corolla.
Take care, have a happy day!

Got to give Elon Musk credit! For making the Private Space Business, a reality.

Did your doctor, write an Rx, for this new allergy medicine? Or is this OTC, and on your own? Yes, I am nosy!!!!!!! >,-))))

Wow, great photos. I am going to share your post with my boys. They are into Space X and their dream car is a Tesla.. so if I could get a Tesla before them.. I would be the VERY COOL MOM. Hee Hee.

Great photos of the launch. Your hubby did an excellent job. Please thank him for me. I read about it in the news.

Interesting that both vehicles are black. I thought white was the preferred color in FL.

We ate lunch out in the park earlier this week. A balmy day in December. No more of those in store for us.

Great and interesting photos
Jeep, nothing against Tesla, but Jeep has my heart.

Our weather has been great for getting out and about, that's for sure, but we had to put the furnace on to take the night-time chill off. Brrrrr! I would take the Jeep but we did see a Tesla in Lakeland the other day. I would love a horse but not the expense that goes with them. I'll stick with feeding carrots to other people's horses!!

but I have been watching alot of old westerns and boy have I seen some beautiful horses on those old shows!!!
(and some handsome actors!!!!!!)

Wonderful photos....I have heard of Elon Musk...just barely, and I think it was a result of the crazy results of his many covid tests.

So if I get to choose a vehicle, I'd like the jeep. 🙂

Glad that you are finding a way through the headaches. And I am sure that the fresh air is a help.

Those are cool pictures of the SpaceX Launch, especially the third one, so colorful. I've always liked Jeeps, They're such sturdy vehicles. And those horses are so pretty. I like that first one. I can see myself riding that one hehehe.

Cool pictures.
I love the look of the Tesla but I think I would rather have the jeep.

Fun rocket photos. I'd love to have a Tesla. The horses are pretty, too.

wow! those are really neat photos of the launch! So NEAT that we saw something launch a few weeks back, and now you did too! Love those pretty horses on the trial, out enjoying their day, not a care in the world. Is your new medicine helping yet? You got your eyes checked, right? Are y'all getting a cold spell like we are here? It's great walking weather for sure, chilly...but just a good sweater and good to go!

He tenido un jeep hace unos años, ahora prefiero un caballo. Deseo que mejores de tus dolores de cabeza. Besos y salud.

Great photos!! What a privilege to be able to see the launch. Up here in Huntsville Area there are quite a few Teslas. But I would rather have a jeep myself.

What an adventure to see the launch! As for what I would rather have, I think the horse, the palomino one. And I would love those tires on that Jeep to put on mine. Very cool to see the Tesla SpaceX. I've never seen a Tesla to my knowledge. There may have been some on the Los Angeles freeways when I last was there, but I wouldn't know.

Compliments to your husband for the photos. I would LOVE to see a launch like that! And love the horses, too. All of them!

Wow! You really got some beautiful shots of that launch! (or your hubby did) Amazing! He has a great camera! I wouldn't think you were that close! And then to see that Tesla car where you hike! How cool is that? Between those three choices, Tesla, Jeep, horse, hmmm, I'd probably choose the Jeep, but I'd love a horse if I had a place to keep it and ride it...even though I don't dare ride one anymore since my back surgery. I am glad you got some new allergy meds, and I hope they take care of the headaches. Praying they truly help! We need you to be able to keep hiking and taking these pictures for us to enjoy!! Have a beautiful day...it's warmed back up a bit, but not too much so it should be perfect!
