How about a little Adventure? Let's drive over to Cannon Farms!

It's that time of year already!

Cannon Farms is open with a sunflower field as far as the eye can see! A link to all the latest is HERE

They have wonderful local produce to sell, too.

Lots of people were taking advantage of the beautiful morning (in the 70s) to walk out in the field to follow the maze and pick there own sunflowers.

I was happy to take photos and buy some that they had just cut!

So beautiful in every direction!

You can see the big sprinkler systems in the field here.

And then I even drove my Jeep into the back of the parking area and did a little Jeep photo shoot!

It's so DRY here so there's a lot of contrast to dry grasses along the road and the fields and lawns that are watered.

But the afternoon showers will be popping up soon so we'll enjoy the early summer weather.

I took this one out the side window when I left!

I bought LOTS of produce and put it away as soon as I got home. But here are some of the 'maters' and peaches I put in a bowl. The peaches are locally grown at Arthur Family Farm HERE!  They are SO sweet and juicy!

And the sunflowers will perk up in the vase soon.

I told the ladies at the check out that I still had a sunflower from 2 years ago, so I want to share that photo too. It dried so beautifully! (the dust keeps it preserved too!!!heehee)

So that's our adventure for today!

Come down to Florida and walk through the sunflower maze with me!

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday
HERE .

Also I like Thursdays HERE.

Popped in from a mutual friends blog, always fun to meet new bloggers. Wonderful pictures of all the Sunflowers. I would love to do that. Don't think we have anything like it around here, but am going to have to do some googling to see. Swing by for a visit.

Love the hat on the lady, in the 3rd picture.

This place is lovely now, and must be gorgeous, when all the sun flowers are out. -smile-

About my last post... Please read the one I just posted, also. Some of the comments, scared me! People did not read the link. Some sound as if they think, any old fern is an edible Fiddlehead Fern. -sigh-

Since you know of survival foods, you would not think that! But I am saying it anyway.

Yikes! Yikes! Yikes!

Dear Diane, I see you have All seasons still listed with my name, but maybe you forgot, or don't know that Lydia Cee from pandora and max (one word at blogspot) has taken it over from me 3 weeks ago:) So I have more time for my new art projects! so, what you saw was my weekly post - I hope I can keep that on through my art journeys:)
Thanks for visiting me, and have a lovely week! Love the header with the little child trailing behind her mother - so cute! The sunflowers are beautiful. Oh yes, gotto look for peaches in the store - my favorite to eat with salmon. Jesh!

How fun to see those sunflowers! Mine are tiny seedlings that I just planted out last week. And peaches, too! Enjoy those sweet fruits (or can you eat them?) Strawberries are the sweet things here just now and they are delicious!

hi there girlfriend Diane!!---I'm baaaack! LOL thanks for the birthday wishes and yes it was a great birthday, and also anniversary. I am still recovering from all the running hither and yon, ha ha LOL! Happy birthday to your son as well! Oh yes, it's hard to find good tv anymore. Can you get "netflix" there, we love it and it has the "Little Men" seasons and I just know you'd love them. It's not expensive at all either. I love your post here....love all the big pretty sunflowers! We have a bunch growing, they are about six feet tall now, but no blooms yet. It's the first year the squirrels/birds have not run off with our seeds!!---Mr. Front Porch covered them up GOOD. LOL. These are beautiful pictures of the trails, the gardens, the tables, everything at this farm and I love the sign in the garden. Hugs!!
