Some Favorite things!

Of course my MOST favorite thing is hiking!

And we managed to make TWO hikes this weekend.

It was hot but not unbearable and we needed to get out!

I think I'll add some favorite things to each of my posts this month. I just feel the need to share!

Have you visited Laura at Simple and Serene Living lately?

The link to her blog is HERE!

(I borrowed this image from her blog!)

She is doing a series on Healthy Habits for a Happier Life and her posts have been excellent! Be sure you go back and see each post in this series. It's been a hard year for us all and making sure we know about healthy habits that can help is much needed! Thanks Laura for being such an inspiration!

And I bought these Danish Whisks because my blog buddy at the Nutbrown Cottage HERE said they were good.

I love them! I'm stirring and whisking and loving them SO much! (she has a link on her post for shopping)

And you all KNOW I love Etsy! And it's so nice to find a shop that has reasonable prices AND free shipping!

Dinglehopper Things is HERE on Etsy!

This Winter journal is awesome! So many nice details. She really put a lot into it and was a joy to message too.

Have you had a good week? Mine has been especially GOOD!

Happy Labor Day!

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

Also I like Thursdays HERE.

Lovely favorite things. A new whisk is always a good thing to have.

Never have seen a whisk like that. Lost to be thankful for here. One is that we have friends driving from Boston area to visit overnight. They were in MA for granddaughter's wedding.

Those butterflies are beautiful. I'll have to check out the sites you mentioned here.

I should try one of those whisks! And oh, I do love each and every photo, Diane. Beautiful images of those fabulously colorful butterflies and blooms.

Love all your fun photos of the butterflies and flowers and that whisk thingy and the other ideas. Thank you for giving us something else to think about today! It's too hot to do anything else!! We take our walks usually after supper when the sun goes behind the trees a bit to cool things down. Or we go early in the morning before it gets too hot. Where is fall???? I want it NOW!! Have a happy week. I enjoyed visiting with you today.

Happy September! Hiking still looks good in Florida ... may it stay that way for a few months or be even better because I think we're going to get there this season! Thanks for all the good links. I never knew I needed a Danish Whisk until I saw this post and now I Must Have One (LOL).

GREAT butterfly pictures! So close and so detailed!

That whisk looks pretty neat. I don't do just a whole lot of cooking any more except when I have overnight guests -- and then I literally have to get re-acquainted with my kitchen! It's the strangest thing!

It is the start of spring here, so definitely the time to get out and bushwalk and see the wildflowers. The little wild orchids are just starting in our south west area where we live. Stay safe and enjoy your hikes! And thank you for stopping by my blog this week.

Diane - so glad you have had a good week! I have a ton of coreopsis in my garden - fascinated to see it in your header and know that it grows in Florida too! Your pictures of the butterflies/moths are stunning! I will take a look at Simple and Serene Living. Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

I must get a whisk like that, because I do a huge amount of eggs. Wow! Love the photos, especially the mosaic. Is that wild sweetpea?

Great post…love the butterflies. Yes I have had a good week….especially since one of my daughter’s is near the end of “break through” covid. We have been busy packing and going to dinner with many of our summer friends. Going to miss them. Hope it cools off for you soon.

Those Danish Whisks are so cute. I saw them on Kim's blog. It looks like they would really do the trick stirring and mixing. That orange butterfly is beautiful, and doesn't it look like Autumn? Your friend's journal is delightful. My blog friend just did a post about her journals, and they are the cutest things. If you want to check them out to get ideas, it's carola bartz on my side bar. They are creative and filled with color. : )
