The Bluebirds are back!

Sometimes I get out in nature and laugh out loud at what I see!

And that's what happened when we got to the trailhead of Halpata Tastanaki Preserve.

A pretty bluebird was peering over the trail sign.

And then another one flew in and told him it was safe to come out.

They both looked pretty regal on the posts of the sign.

And I had a good laugh!

Eastern Bluebird

They were also on the Florida Trails when I hiked the section between hwy 484 and State Rd 200.

I watched about 30 Bluebirds at the top of Bluebird of Happiness Hill and then before I left, another flock joined them.

They were beautiful and I smiled when I turned around to head back to the Jeep.

I hope everyone in the US enjoys a blessed Thanksgiving day.

Get out and enjoy nature when you can. You'll smile and maybe even laugh at the unexpected things you see!

This morning I raked persimmon tree leaves while listening to the bees buzzzz, buzzzz, buzzz. Delightful! I love it when a flock of birds rustle through our trees on their way to elsewhere. I like to think we are on a bird list of places to rest. πŸ™ƒ A Joyful Thanksgiving, Diane!

Wow, that is amazing to see so many bluebirds in one place. I love the photos of the ones on the sign. That is so cute. I did see some bluebirds fly through here a couple of weeks ago, but not since. I will keep my eyes open for them. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

What beautiful pictures of these bluebirds and so many together.
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in the Netherlands, we have Sinterklaas, which is a children's party, he arrives in the Netherlands three weeks before December 5, the idea is just like with Santa Claus.
Greetings Irma

One Bluebird would be enough for me. To see a flock would be magical. The end of November seems quite late for them to be just arriving. I wonder where they have been?

It's been years since I have seen Bluebirds. I used to have them nest in the garden until the House Sparrows moved in and kept taking over their nest box. I finally had to give up after going through every type of nest boxes out there for Bluebirds. Somethings are never meant to be, I guess. Your photos of them are really nice. I love the two perched on the posts.
