These are just a few photos of the gardens in and around the Asheville, NC River Arts District.
It was a beautiful day here in the mountains of North Carolina!
I hope you enjoy the photos of some of the art featured in the gardens outside!
This is the 3rd post in a series on the Art District.
I hope you’ll stop by my blog to see more photos and the post entitled ‘Meet the Artist'.

There seems to a lot going on in Asheville. Some of the art looks a little sci-fi, or perhaps Egyptian. What a great idea for an art/garden tour.

Hello name mate! Thank you for pictures of greeneries. I love the fourth picture. I would love to relax in that wooden chair under the shade of a refreshing tree and of course enjoying the greenery.

Interesting sculptures and artwork in those gardens, Diane. I'd love to go there someday!
beautiful gardens, your photos are great!
Asheville looks like a fun place to visit! The sculptures are so unique, and I could sit in one of those Adirondack chairs for a while taking it all in. We were in Gainesville yesterday (on business) and passed by all of the museums and center for the arts...I was thinking..."I want to come up here one of these days when I have time to go in and browse for a while." My fave museums are those of natural history!
Great pics Diane!
I love walking through gardens that display art. ~Ames
Art is the garden isn't something I see here very often. I like the garden in the middle portion of the mosaic. Thanks for sharing.
