*A Quilt Garden*…Mosaic Monday!

One of the prettiest gardens in the NC Arboretum is the Quilt Garden!

ArborFlowers

And it was gorgeous the day we went!

I’m not sure what all the flowers are…

DSCN5414

but a lot of them have markers…

DSCN5415

so it’s fun to learn new flowers each time we visit!

DSCN5417

I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend!

I’m joining Mary at the dear little red house

for Mosaic Monday!

I use Picassa to make mine!

Is my hair flat?…I mean….Do you enjoy making mosaics?

How very cool this quilt garden is. You are cracking me up with your question at the end. My hair back east is never flat it goes whacky and shoots out in all directions! Great mosaics!

Wow1 I love the colors in the quilt garden!
Maybe I should just sew one!LOL!

[I think it would be faster, and I wouldn't have to drag the hose around, either!]

Inspiring!

LOL, you are so funny Diane. I love short hair and flat is fine too. I have worn mine short now ever since I had the surgery on my hands. Can't do a lot of blow drying with your hands in casts don't cha know. heheh
The mosaic gardens are awesome. It would be so much fun to do something like that. I have the room and I might try arranging my strawbale garden is a mosaic fashion and plant accordingly to give the most in color and depth. I may even do a labrinyth . That would be fun. I little tough going for the lawn mower but I could manage.
Love your ice cream social too. I love Ice cream any time of year. They seem to have flavors that goes with all the seasons. Pumpkin in the fall and peppermint in winter. yum.
You look great, the Summer time has been kind to you. Have a great week,
hugs and blessings.

I love the quilt garden!! What a wonderful place to stroll around! I wouldn't even bother with the names (of flowers)..., cause I'd forget them instantly -this has nothing to do with age, haha.

Hi Diane,
You look wonderful! You made us all smile with the flat hair comment---my hair is different everyday and definitely can be flat if I don't do my little regimen. I think your hair looks cute! I LOVE the garden photos! So pretty! I think my neighbor across the street has a couple of the flowers in the photo. The purple looks like lavender which I love. A couple of the photos look like the scene could be in France...so beautiful! What a great place to visit! xoxo Kim
