I’ve been counting my blessings this month and looking for ways to ‘follow my heart’. So I loved finding these little notes in the marked down area of one of my favorite stores.
Of course while you’re being ‘all serious’ and working through challenges, it’s fun to come home to this!
All of you that have followed me for awhile know Wendy. My little Lloyd Middleton doll that was given to me by a friend years and years ago, when I first started collecting dolls. She has always been my favorite and usually sits on the sofa.
So imagine my surprise when I found her on the floor…
with her foot in the jaws of a leopard.
Shocking I know….
just SHOCKING!
But not to worry!
No dollies were harmed in the making of this post or in our happy home! lol (I gave her a hug and she’s back on the sofa)
And thanks to Laura from Decor to Adore for a Giveaway Gift she sent me this week!
It’s always fun to have handmade Christmas pretties!
Thanks Laura!
Oh and thanks hubby for making us all SMILE!
I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

My first thought was... she doesn't have a dog.
Your husband keeps like interesting Diane. He reminds me of my husband who loves to do things like that as well.
Hahahaha! That's hilarious! Is nothing sacred to that man?? LOL - thanks for the laugh. FYI, I made the garlic knots . . . yummmmm. I'll be posting about them soon!
Glad to know all is well!
Have a wonderful day!
Now that is cute and funny, Diane. Sounds like you have a character for a husband--the best kind! lol
Love that little Christmas 'gift'. It is just darling.
Hope you have a wonderful upcoming weekend- xo Diana
Oh, I am laughing out loud! Someone lives with a prankster.
I am so glad the package arrived safe and sound albeit a bit late.
I hope my comment went through.
Hello, poor dollie Wendy. I am glad she was not hurt, lol. The ornaments are so pretty and I like the sign too. Have a happy day!
laughing!! I find your husbands sense of humor very entertaining! Hugs!
Ah ha, I know who did that to Wendy. His name begins with the letter R.
Hugs
Ha Ha ... Humour makes life ‘ Special” and thankfully some of us are blessed with fun loving partners... so it is definately worth ’Counting our blessings “ every beautiful day...Hugs
Bless you!
ha ha your hubby is a lot like mine, but my present was a rubber snake on the counter, and once a rubber rat on the washer
Adorable post. Maybe you need to install a hidden camera to capture exactly what happened! LOL!
HAHA...I love it.
Diane, Poor Wendy...saved just in time. :):) So cute. I like little notes to add to letters or cards. Blessings to you , xoxo, Susie

...poor Wendy!
That doll's situation gave me a good chuckle!! Thanks for linking up today!
Wow, did Laura make those? She is so talented it wouldn't surprise me! A dingo ate my baby! Oh no!
I count by blessings each morning before I start the day. A happy day is bound to happen when you do that. : )
Glad that Wendy is okay. : )
Oh, too funny! Boys will be boys.......Love your Christmas pretties! Hugs xo Karen
Oh my! Your poor doll. I think she needs a cup of tea to calm her nerves! :-)
I'm so glad your valentine arrived safe and sound. I was a little worried that the roses might get crushed - thus the bubblewrap & cardboard. xo
What a funny surprise to come home to!!
Oh your Christmas gifts are so pretty. They will be a lovely addition to your Christmas next year when you unpack your Christmas things.
What a cute post! I'm glad Wendy is ok.
You live in a world of fun!
And I love your Laura things! So beautiful!
are you dressing up your dollies for valentines day? I bet that leopard is a GENTLE leopard, and was just playing nicely, right? ha ha LOL Have a great weekend my friend, and hoping for nice warm weather! Think it may be rainy here.
And it's not even close to April Fool's Day yet! This is the sort of thing our cats would do, although they don't quite have that dexterity!
It's great to live with someone with a sense of humour! Love that printer's tray with all the shells. I have a printer's tray but it has a drawer assembly attached to it and I need to get my husband to cut that part off.
Wendy doesn't look too happy on the floor haha. That's a silly and fun joke your husband played on you. It kind of reminds me of the crazy places that we put Elf on the Shelf hehehe.

Hee hee - the hijinx are going on again. I'm glad she wasn't harmed. I often come upon my dolls - and more often my bears, in strange situations and whenever I ask them what they are up to, the reply is always the same - "nothing".
