Count Your Blessings!

I’ve been counting my blessings this month and looking for ways to ‘follow my heart’. So I loved finding these little notes in the marked down area of one of my favorite stores.

Of course while you’re being ‘all serious’ and working through challenges, it’s fun to come home to this!

All of you that have followed me for awhile know Wendy. My little Lloyd Middleton doll that was given to me by a friend years and years ago, when I first started collecting dolls. She has always been my favorite and usually sits on the sofa.

So imagine my surprise when I found her on the floor…

with her foot in the jaws of a leopard.

Shocking I know….

DSCN4639

just SHOCKING!

But not to worry!

No dollies were harmed in the making of this post or in our happy home! lol (I gave her a hug and she’s back on the sofa)

And thanks to Laura from Decor to Adore for a Giveaway Gift she sent me this week!

It’s always fun to have handmade Christmas pretties!

Thanks Laura!

Oh my! Your poor doll. I think she needs a cup of tea to calm her nerves! :-)

I'm so glad your valentine arrived safe and sound. I was a little worried that the roses might get crushed - thus the bubblewrap & cardboard. xo

are you dressing up your dollies for valentines day? I bet that leopard is a GENTLE leopard, and was just playing nicely, right? ha ha LOL Have a great weekend my friend, and hoping for nice warm weather! Think it may be rainy here.

And it's not even close to April Fool's Day yet! This is the sort of thing our cats would do, although they don't quite have that dexterity!

It's great to live with someone with a sense of humour! Love that printer's tray with all the shells. I have a printer's tray but it has a drawer assembly attached to it and I need to get my husband to cut that part off.

Wendy doesn't look too happy on the floor haha. That's a silly and fun joke your husband played on you. It kind of reminds me of the crazy places that we put Elf on the Shelf hehehe.

Hee hee - the hijinx are going on again. I'm glad she wasn't harmed. I often come upon my dolls - and more often my bears, in strange situations and whenever I ask them what they are up to, the reply is always the same - "nothing".
