Are you SCARED yet?

I don’t do a whole lot of decorating for Halloween but I do have a few favorites that come out for the occasion!

I thought the wicked old witch and her black cat looked cute on the piano bench.

But then while I was shopping, hubby put my doll Wendy in the mix.

She looks real scared now, doesn’t she?

And I found my Edgar Allan Poe book to put on the library table.

And guess what?

A RAVEN flew in to perch on top.

I know you are all VERY SCARED now!

So I better stop and wish you a fun and friendly Halloween!

Hello,

Yes, very scared. I like your wicked old witch. Cure images and mosaic.
Happy Monday, enjoy your day and the new week!

How fun!!! I don't decorate much either, usually a jack o'lantern, special mugs to drink from and fall leaves. I'll be leaving Florida in a few days. So sorry we didn't ever get together! Perhaps one day we will when I come for visits. My sister still lives here in Holiday and always will as her children live here,

You and your husband (and Wendy) are all having way too much spooky fun! Time to step away from the candy! Loved your Halloween post, a real treat for the MM crowd this week.

Diane, I don't do many Halloween things either...mostly fall décor. But I have a couple things. I like your witchy poo doll. So funny that little mask. :) The Poe book is a good touch. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I had thought to close one eye on Wendy( it was on a movies of a doll that just appeared), she could have a variety of costumes for all holidays.

Yes, I am very scared! When I was a kid, I always thought dolls were scary (for some reason). I never wanted to play with them, much to the concern of my mother! :)

What a great trio. Happy Halloween to all of you.

Boo! Your hubby has a sense of humor -- lucky you! Fun post and decor for Halloween. Have fun this week!

I decorate with black cats and pumpkins but no witches, ghosts, etc. For some reason I have not gotten around to decorating at all this year. Oh well, almost time to do fall for Thanksgiving. Your decorations are cute. I like the raven on the Poe book. That's very clever.

Like you, I do not have many Halloween decorations but I do have lots of fall. I will take out the Halloween decor on Thursday and replace it with Thanksgiving items. We will not be here for Thanksgiving this year so I am fighting the need to go ahead and put up my Christmas tree. lol

HA HA ---what a cute post. I am scared to death!!!!!!

Love your Halloween 'cuties'...... I don't decorate much --but what I have is usually out from late Sept. to after Thanksgiving. I have a stuffed turkey on our dining room table along with some Fall/Harvest placemats. I have two stuffed pumpkin babies sitting on my fireplace hearth.... I also have a few things outside....

Happy Halloween.

Hugs,
Betsy
P.S. Love your Wendy doll. GORGEOUS.

Halloween looks like fun in your house Diane!
The wicked old witch and cute black cat set the scene beautifully!
Do they play the piano and sing too?!!!
I’m also wondering if you made them as I’m sure you’re a clever crafter.
Tomorrow is Halloween in NZ so I need to stock up on my gift bags for when the little ones call🤗

Happy Halloween, Diane! Poe is one of my favorite poets/writers. I Think Wendy looks very scary with her BOO mask!!

Ohhhhhh Wendy is very brave - and scary in her mask. Love the wicked witch too. Happy Halloween my dear, I mean my witchy friend. Hee hee - cackle cackle.

Lorrie said...

Wendy looks curious rather than scared, and then finally joins in the fun, too! Sounds like your husband is also a fun-loving person. I don't have any Halloween decorations, but there's a fat pumpkin on the porch that might get carved into a jack-o-lantern! Happy Halloween, Diane!
Hugs,
Lorrie

That looks so cute, love it! You have such a pretty pretty home and I love seeing all your treasures, trinkets, "doo-dads" and collections! Is that a pretty white mermaid I see perched up on the piano? Oh, and who plays? So neat to have a piano in the home! Hope your week has started off great and do y'all get any trick or treaters in your neighborhood? I bought some of those delicious miniature Reesces peanut butter cups and so far I HAVE BEEN THE ONE enjoying them! LOL

Too cute!!! Love the raven and Poe...together again! LOL! Happy Halloween to you! Unfortunately, I think we are having storms tomorrow so my few trick or treaters probably won't be out and about which means I will be left with a lot of candy. What will I do??? LOL!

That Edgar Allan Poe book looks just right for the holiday. And I think I've told you before, but I love those plates on the library table - they're so unique. Your witch looks festive on the piano bench, and I've always liked Wendy. She looks so real with those cute chubby cheeks hehehe.

What has become of Wendy? She made me feel most scared. The wicked old witch doesn’t look too scary and her black cat looks charming. I enjoyed your Halloween story-telling.
