*My Holiday Home*

I didn't really plan to have a home tour of any kind this year.

I've simplified my decorating to take advantage of the nice weather to GET OUTSIDE more!

But one day I invited my friend over to see the dolls and jewelry trees so I decided it was the perfect time to take a few photos. Remember....I invited a friend over. And since I know you are ALL friends, I'm sure you won't point out that a flannel shirt is laying over the back of a chair or mention the things you see that are 'out of place'.

Living Room

The Lanai

The Kitchen

The Bedroom

Thanks for stopping by!
(I'll save some dollies for another day.)

Care for a cup of coffee before you go? It's GOOD!!!

*Happy Holidays*

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE
and Common Ground HERE.

Lovely, as always! And I'll see your flannel shirt, and raise you muddy dog prints down the side door hallway from three little dogs, crumbs on the counter from this morning's toast and two pairs of muddy muck boots at the door. Oh.. and a load of wet laundry from yesterday that needs rewashing because ugh, that lovely mold smell.

I love how you use jewelry as Christmas ornaments. Very cool idea. Love that old German barometer house. And that coffee is so good! The decaf version is equally rich. So many lovely Christmas decorations! Thanks for the tour, Diane!

Thanks for sharing bits of your home, Diane. I especially like the kitchen and your bedroom. I loved to see the splashes of red in your kitchen. That little house is so cute, and I love those three little angels in red. The jewelry tree is pretty. Your home is all decked out for the season and looks so nice. : )

Oh thanks for the great tour...your home is so warm and cozy, I love it. I didn’t notice a single thing out of place. Thanks for helping me to get into the Christmas Spirit...because of our travel schedule, I have a little trouble getting there. ... and may I take a rain check on the cup of coffee until tomorrow morning?

Your home looks warm and cozy and happy. I love it. I would LOVE to see your dolls some time. I have a few dolls, although I am trying to simplify what I have displayed since we moved into a smaller house, and therefore some of my dollies are still packed away. I may just bring out a few at a time for a while and then exchange them for others. I hope you have a very merry Christmas and the happiest of New Years!

I couldn't find the flannel shirt. What "out of place" are you talking about? I love that your living room is full of books. I don't see that much anymore. Your whole house is comfy cozy. Thank you for the tour. :-)

Diane - how nice of you to invite your friend(s) into your home! I wouldn't dare criticize anything - it all looks neat as a pin. The header with the little mittens is adorable! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

I loved this tour my friend! Felt like I was a regular girlfriend stopping by for a cup of coffee and a visit in your pretty lanai!! Your home is very nice and pretty and I love your decorations. Especially those jewelry trees....so neat, so unique! Having a rainy day here....maybe not walking this evening, ha ha ha ha LOL--we do sometimes walk in the rain tho, just depends on how cold it is. Hope your week is going great so far!
