Happy Labor Day!

Thanks to the workers that have contributed to the strength, prosperity and well being of our country.

A special thanks to all of those that have made a difference in our lives during the pandemic.

I've put together some mosaics from photos taken on hike #99.

It's been hard to get a  hike in lately!

Our temperatures have been hot....

and the humidity high!

I am thankful for all those that work to make America great.

God Bless you all!

I hope everyone has a chance to do something fun on this 'end of summer' holiday!

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

I'm linking with All Seasons at the Jesh Studio too!

Diane, You still managed to find some pretty things to show us from your hikes. The humidity knocks me out. I don't mind being warm , but I hate to sweat. LOL. Stay cool there. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

You are capturing some great pictures Diane. We have seen a lot of mushrooms here lately. We even saw what is referred to as a fairy circle. ...a complete circle of mushrooms.

Yes, we need to remember, all those who quietly toil, day in and day out, to make America Great!!!!

Especially when so many, are doing the opposite of "toiling."

When so many are rampaging in our streets.

Tearing down, rather than doing any building.

Screaming, rather than talking.

Thus, losing any good, which could have been achieved, to right wrongs, which do need righting.

They do not want to FIX anything!

They just want to TEAR all down!

And if this is what, we citizens want, then our Country is doomed.

We each need to ask ourselves, is destruction of our Constitution and our Country, what we, individually, want?

Something to ponder, while we enjoy our Happy Labor Day, 2020.

Very pretty collages, Diane. I hope that the weather soon becomes better for hiking. It has cooled down a bit here and much less humid. I love when that happens :).
A lovely tribute to all who are working hard to keep America strong. Enjoy your day.

Oh so pretty! I love your hiking photos! You are seeing some beautiful wildflowers and butterflies and mushrooms...and just plain Florida woods beauty! Oh, and the beautyberries! I miss seeing that here. We had tons of them in Salt Springs, but I haven't seen any here. Strange, we are only 30 miles north of where we were, but the foliage tends to be very different here. Of course, Salt Springs was in the middle of the Big Scrub of the Ocala National Forest, so there was a lot of natural beauty there that I am missing here. You see a lot of what we had there where you are. Thank you for sharing it with us. I love it!! Have a blessed and Happy Labor Day!

Your photos are so varied and lovely! I hope your Labor Day has been great! I had a "stay at home" picnic today! I had many memories of my best friend-it was 12 years ago today that he went to Heaven. Have a good evening. Love, Aunt Helen

wow, you have been busy this week. So many beautiful and stunning shots you share in your mosaics. Flowers, butterflies, berries and more from nature.
Love how you worked with your mosaics choosing colors from the images in the mosaic. Each mosaic with ´s own color palette.

Well done. I love it! It is fun, isn´t it?

All your pictures are wonderful and the mosaics arranged perfectly. The butterfly in the last picture is a fabulous photograph...you are a butterfly whisperer since they pose so beautifully for you. I’m in awe that you get outside at all ... it’s not nearly so hihg here I’m sure (and humidity is low) and yet I can’t motivate myself.

Thank you for all your beautiful posts. That black butterfly on the white flower is gorgeous. And your header photo is very precious.

Diane - always interesting to hear what weather is doing on the other side of the country! We are under a freeze warning tonight, and it was only practical to cover a few of my plants. I am resigned to the possibility that much of my garden will be affected ... oh, well. Still much to be happy about, including that last photo with the butterfly! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Such pretty mosaics - I am used to high humidity but I find walking in it quite challenging. Lovely to see what you spotted on your wanders!

We are in the middle of a winter storm. Eight to twelve inches of snow accumulating tonight and tomorrow. .....and I donated my snow shoes last week since I have new ones in Texas...me oh my.

Don't get out in the horrible heat and risk getting sick! Eventually, it will cool down and will be safer. Stay inside making wonder mosaics for me to enjoy.

Those tightly-clumped purple berries you pictured -- my son in Pensacola has them growing wild on his property. They are so very pretty. I looked them up a couple of years ago but I don't remember what they are called.

Rain? It sure has brought out the mushrooms!!

Keep the good pictures coming, Diane!
