Comical Critters with captions!

It's been a really great week for bird and critter sightings!

These were some of our most comical pics!

" Think you could 'scrunch' over and give me a little more room?"

We saw dozens of Sandhill Cranes at the Pruitt Trailhead.

"Keep an eye out for that crazy crane!"

"I just heard there was a party going on.

(let's listen in)

Know anything about it?"

"I'll just play dumb!"

And then there are the storks in flight!

"I need more LIFT!!!"

Storks need better GPS!

Harry, Henry, Henrietta and Helen flying together.

"Did you see that crazy bird that just flew by, going the wrong way?"

And then there were the baby alligators at Blue Run Park in Dunnellon.

They were so cute!

Best buds!

"But hey guys, think you could find another log? It's getting pretty crowded here!"

No birds or critters were harmed in the making of this post and the airplane was at a much different altitude than the birds, so don't worry. The Heron had a head and the Sandhill Cranes didn't really have TWO heads! All just for fun!

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE

and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

Cute post! (JMHO, but baby alligators are not especially cute. Certainly not like kittens, puppies or lambs. 😏)

Wow, what a great critter post. LOL< the turtles could use more room. I love seeing the Sandhill Cranes with the horses and the heron. The baby alligators are cute. It is a neat capture of the plane with the storks in flight. Awesome photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend.

the last back to back cranes made me remember this quote. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other. do not ask where i learned that because I have no idea. my favorite is the plane and birds, hilarious. those baby gators are Darling...I love storks and remember the first time I saw one in the preserve I said with delight, Diane what is that ugly bird? I love it! when she said Stork I answered not like any stork i have seen. I was thinking photos of storks delivering babies

Do I win a prize for being the first person to make a comment, lol/ Wonderful pictures, though I'm quite skittish around creepy crawly things so I would be well away from those in your pictures. Too far away to get a decent picture in fact.

Oh Diane, what amazing pictures you captured! I just loved everyone of them! Now, seeing those alligators, hopefully you were far enough away from momma, ha! It is so wonderful to see God's creatures living their best life, and all the interesting things they do! I loved the perspective of the airplane and the birds, too funny, and what a great capture! Such fun to be able to capture God's creatures in such amazing ways! You do a fabulous job :) Happy New Year to you and your family :)

Great post today, my friend! So much to see and enjoy around you! We finally got some cold air here in Pa, and the lake began to freeze. Today, I looked out and saw several clumps of something out on the ice. I had no idea what they were! Suddenly one moved and I realized they were the geese! Have a cozy weekend!

That last photo is really something, I LOVE IT! The baby alligators are so cute all snuggled with each other. That's a cool picture of the plane and the birds. You took that at just the right time. That was one of my favorite captions you made hehehe. And that photo of the white Cranes and the brown horse is wonderful. There's just something about it that spoke to me. I guess it's like all the creatures of nature are living together in harmony. Great photos Diane!

I need to see some alligators! Babies or big ones -- can't believe we've been here since October and haven't even come across a single one yet. Love your cute birds -- like live cartoons.
