End of the month Leftovers?

We take SO many photos that I never post!

So these are all taken on my birthday.

I told you I could make a month of posts just about my birthday! Can you spot my pink cap in the first two?

And we'll hurry right through them.

I mean I have another birthday just around the corner, right?

They do seem to come along pretty regular! lol

This one needs a little 'splaining'!

At the top is a restaurant, I think.
Bottom left, would you rather take the birding trail with me?
Bottom right, or the 'watch out for alligators' trail with hubby?
Center, we didn't catch this young man in action (in a photo) but he was practicing his rope tricks. At the trailhead with a lasso flying through the air....really!

We still had lots of wildflowers blooming and butterflies fluttering on this fine January day. We've had a freeze since then so that may have finished some of the blooms.

Hubby got Bubba's BBQ for my special birthday meal. We got a sample platter with all kinds of goodies. I loved the BBQ brisket best! If you are local, I highly recommend this place in Dunnellon! We'll be back!!!

I don't actually eat the sauce but hubby liked them.

I got some pretty birthday cards this year. Hubby gave me THREE so he gets the most credit.

I got some pretty ones from friends and family too!

He ordered these pop up cards from a wonderful Etsy shop HERE! If you need a card to send to someone and can't get out to shop, order one from her. She'll send it anywhere and even add a personal message. They are the cutest cards ever! Thanks hubby! And thanks to everyone that was thoughtful to send me a special card this year.

I had a HUGELY Happy Birthday!

Thanks everyone for making this one extra special!

And we had TWO days of winter weather this month! hahaha! But do you see what I see? Look under the 25!!!

0% chance of snow? Well, I should HOPE so!!!

Enjoy your day! Stay warm! 🌴

Yes that river scene! That is what I call a river and not the trickles you get here. Wonderful! Yes I see you in your pink cap LOL! Keep well. Amanda x

I'm thinking it looks like a pretty fabulous birthday -- and it looks like your temps might be perking up! I'm sure that's a plus!

I wonder what that guy was going to lasso?? 🤣 That bbq place looks intriguing. We'd definitely want to eat there. Very cute with the sauce names! Glad you are having such a great birthday month, Diane. It's almost over! My birthday month starts tomorrow.

Okay, so I read this post and the last one as a single post and the comment on the previous one applies to this one, too.

Don't mind me. I get confused when temperatures drop below 70!

Pretty cards. Sounds like somebody might consider creating their own cards.

I love the 3D cards your husband gave you. Diane! Keep on celebrating!

I hope the freeze did not kill all the flowers and butterflies, etc. We have been getting snow every week and this week we are expecting an Artic Blast with sub-zero temperatures. I will have my fireplace lit and make a good hot soup for dinner.

I'm so glad you had a great birthday! The river photos are so calming, and glad the flowers were still blooming. Now it has turned colder, but I'm sure it won't curtail your hiking. The Bubbaque sounds fun-and delicious! Your cards were so pretty! Many more Happy Birthday's to the sweetest dear one. Love, Aunt Helen

You certainly had a wonderful birthday month! I love the new math! If it can make us around "30" again, that would be just great! LOL. And yes, even tho it said we had 0 % chance of snow, my friend out here took a video of snow coming down at her house in the middle of the night! I missed it since I was sleeping, but she actually has photographs to prove it...so don't always believe everything they tell you on TV! Especially the weather! LOL. I'm glad we are back to a more normal February weather month pattern. I need to get back outside more like you and get some fresh air and sunshine! Loved your post and pictures. Happy Happy Birthday!

The barbecue sample platter sounds delicious. There's nothing like barbecue chicken or brisket. It looks like you had a nice birthday. Lots of thoughtful cards. I like the one with the pink roses. Oh, that butterfly is lovely as ever.

Happy February days, Diane.

You have more fun than anybody! And zero percent of snow is a good reason to have even more Florida fun, even during our two days of winter. (I'm glad our warm weather is back!). Love all the wonderful cards you got! Super -- I just ordered a couple from Amazon because I didn't feel like dealing with Walgreens. I will check the Etsy shop you mention for next time.

You have a good man, there! Belated Happy Birthday!!.. love your pictures. It's all white around here. Bleh.

Happy Birthday, belated. Looks like you had a good time. Had to look twice to see your ball cap, but in the picture it looks white . Could be the settings on my computer. I think I'll go birding with you instead of looking for gators with your hubby. A friend of mine likes to get photo's of birds and she and I had a couple of good adventures, which included gators.........oophs. I wrote a blog about one Traveling Suitcase, and still have photo's from a 2nd and 3rd adventure to blog about. Stay warm. That's cold, really cold for Florida.

I've never been into cards, but those are some cute ones you caught.

What a Happening post! I am envious, I have not received a real card for years now as everyone sends email or what's app cards. It is like our postman will loose his job soon if this continues. Bubbaques looks like an unusual place to eat. I was searching for a pink cap but it came out white. Between the alligator and bird walk, I ll play safe and go with you
