She shelvvves Seashells by the Seashore

Hey, did you notice?

I misspelled a word in my title!

(Never say Never! haha!)

When I get back home after being gone for over a month, I clean. I go crazy cleaning and organizing and finding a place for my ‘latest acquisitions’!

IMG_8605

I saved the printer’s tray for my ‘reward’. I love getting my seashells out to sort. So I had fun putting some into the printer’s tray I bought at New Visions…HERE!

IMG_8456

We have a really big coffee table in our living room because we needed something to balance the space between 2 red sofas.

IMG_8473

So this large printer’s tray is perfect! And I have to keep things low because we use remotes for all of the electronics below the tv.

I’m joining the Vintage Inspiration Link party HERE,

Ivy and Elephants HERE

Vintage Bliss Tuesdays HERE

and Tweak it Tuesday!

IMG_8606

I mixed in some sea glass AND some of the tiny ‘found’ objects from our walks on Canaveral National Seashore.

We could make a game of this!

Can you find the…

  • beer bottle caps
  • the ice cream spoon
  • the Army man
  • Lincoln head penny
  • glass bottle
  • or other interesting objects?

I've wanted to do that forever but I don't My Husband will go for it.You must have two recliners or chairs facing the TV too I bet?Hugs Your way-Denise

Okay, as soon as I read the title I just HAD to click over again today. LOVE your shell collection, and they look beautiful displayed in that gorgeous printer's tray. While visiting our favorite thrift shop last month, I noticed a table that had the perfect collector's display top, and I cannot believe I did not grab it when I had the chance. I think that was the weekend I found our antique hall tree so I was a little distracted. ;)
There's a shop in Sanibel Island called She Sells Seashells. GORGEOUS! Visit if you haven't.

Looks great! The (mostly) light colors of the shells stand out nicely against the old wood.

I found them all.

What a fun way to display your shells. Our dog would eat each of them if we left them out like that so most of ours on in glass displays.

I did find the objects.....This is certainly a very interesting conversation piece for your family room. Very neat. I made mistakes all the time in my post and sometimes I don't even notice them until weeks later....lol..

Diane, I love it that you put in those extra little objects! Kinda like Where's Waldo. I found three of those printers' trays a week ago but didn't get them. I should have. They were $21 each and I didn't know if I would use them. Now that I see it used on your coffee table, I'm kinda wishing I'd brought one home. :-)

This is really neat Diane. I mean it's really unique, fun, different, interesting and 'cool'. :) Hubby found a box of seashells in his mother's attic. There are hundreds of all sizes. I kept a handful of interesting ones and the rest are going to the thrift store. I don't need them! I don't even know where she got them all! Your collection makes a great conversation piece.

What a neat idea. I remember a vintage printer tray at the thrift store that I left behind because I did not know what to do with it. And my seashell collection are the large-sizes like the conch. Your collection is beautiful.
