It’s been a good summer for this part of North Central Florida. There’s been enough rain to keep things pretty and green.
I hate to see someone carve into a big beautiful Live Oak, but it’s done now, so I thought I would share.

I like the sentiment….but not the damage to the tree!
We drove to a boat ramp to see if anyone was catching fish and this was a pretty setting.
The shade looks welcoming, doesn’t it?

Lovely pictures...
Mr. Sweet and I loooove fishing so I especially like that one. :)
Wonderful photos, my friend! The fishing scene looks so relaxing - and I agree about the Oak tree. The sentiments are nice, but it sure marred the tree. Will that eventually kill it?
That first photo is grorgeous!
thanks for sharing these. i agree on the tree. :)
Very pretty Diane...I never think of Florida as being so lush. Of course the only part of Florida I have been to is Destin and Orlando!!
I just love all the photos you take. That is an awesome fishing spot or reading place! Maggie
Wow, everything is very lush and green - so healthy looking :)
I always enjoy your pretty photos, Diane. Hugs to you!
What a pretty place and I love the reflection in the 1st shot. Have a great day, Diane.
So green and pretty ...I love that about Florida.
What a beautiful post!! Love all that GREEN!!!! You are so blessed to live in such a pretty place! We are in Colorado enjoying the fall colors. While you are GREEN and the colors here are gorgeous - we usually just change from green to faded green to brown at home in Texas!
Lovely Diane.
Great photos. I like seeing people fish. I use to fish, lots. The rains have really helped with the vegetation. Hope your day is another wonderful Florida day. xoxo,Susie
Beautiful scenery! Too bad about the tree, but is makes a good photo.
Wonderful images!
It looks lovely there Diane. We're having a stretch of great weather this week with sunshine and actual warm temperatures which is awesome for this time of year. I hope you have a great weekend. Hugs, Pam
Beautiful place with great fences and reflections
Everything looks so lush and green. Must be very pleasant to be back in Florida.
I'd love to be sitting right there on the end of that pier fishing too. xo
It all looks wonderful. Fishing off the end of the dock would be relaxing and fun.
oh so pretty!!
All that sun and fishing too. Enjoyed your snaps.
Diana
Beautiful pictures and I love fishing.Blessings Francine.
Looks like you had a nice day:@)
I don't like carving into trees either - or anywhere else where you shouldn't do for that matter. Why can't some people just leave things alone? Oh well.
Glad you had enough rain - I wish I could say that for our area. It's bone dry, and the rain of last night (what a lovely sound) didn't change much.
Everything is so green around your place!! I too am enjoying your header picture!! Fall is sprouting and I sure love it!!
Nice photos!!!
Save the trees!! :0)
Beautiful day!
Woolie Fall Blessings
Nice shots!
I agree about the tree but it is so sweet!!
Always love my visits here! Beautiful photos! Have a great weekend!
That's the same thing I thought when I saw the tree. Very nice spot for relaxing.
I agree about the tree - love/hate! Sitting on that dock looks like a lovely way to spend a day.

Hope you are enjoying the Autumn in Florida

Everything is so lush and green, can you send some of that out this way? Hopefully no permanent damage was done to the tree and it will heal over.
Love that blue sky! Such beauty there Diane.
Ah that boat ramp is a sweet spot to be sitting on a warm day!
I would certainly enjoy sitting there and fishing...or just sitting there. Very inviting scene.
Such a beautiful green and what beautiful photo's.
Yum!! Fishing in Florida on a lake/pond!! That's the best eating fish!! Lovely scene too!!
The place looks so relaxing! I love the greeneries and the water around. Great photos!
You and me both...trees should be hugged not cut. Beautiful scenery!
aahh, someone must really be in love to carve their names in the oak tree. This is a great picture of the scenery in Florida. It's so green and lush.....very pretty.
