We love driving by the beautiful horse farms that are everywhere in this part of North Central Florida.
The horses are beautiful, too.
This was a pretty view from the window of the car.
And if you look closer, you’ll notice there are cattle egret lined up on the fence.
You just never know what you’ll see in Florida!
I’m trying to peek through the fence here!
I see them…do you?

Hi Diane. I'm finally back home again after a week in Alaska baby-sitting. Your photos are beautiful, but that second one: WOW! I love it! It's beautifully composed, and I LOVE how you used the tree to frame it. Very nicely done!
Fantastic fence and animal shots...a great entry for Good Fences!
Lovely scenery for sure! Enjoy your day! Maggie
Very pretty there! I like that you have horses in the second photo.
I think I do, but wouldn't know what they're called! Lovely shots.
Beautiful, so lush and green. Our area is dry and brown and now parts of California are on fire. Our favorite ski resort is in danger and the little town has been evacuated.
I have always loved the "cow birds" which we have here too.
Oh goodness North Carolina is simply gorgeous!!! It is just a TAD bit cooler this week....But don't pack your bags to come home yet LOL!

Cattle egrets? Another new piece of knowledge!
Diane oh why, oh why is there a comment moderation on the blog now...sigh.
I can't see those numbers, and had to get my husband in here to read them off to me...[sad face] LOL.

Beautiful scenery! Love the horses. Perfect summer photos!
Horses are so beautiful! We took pictures of the ones in the field next to us....but blogger refused to upload them. Oh well....maybe later. I never dreamed Florida would have so many horse ranches and things. Your blog is interesting, Diane. =)
My favorite was the second shot, then I seen the egrets and I though oh, I can't choose! That is just too cool.
These are all wonderful views!
I love the big horse farms and the beautiful horses.. and the cattle egret are a bonus. It is a pretty place for a drive.. Wonderful fence shots.
Diane, love the photos. The scenery is beautiful and not what I imagine Florida to be.
Hugs, Dianne
Nice captures. Never heard of that type egret.
Such beautiful horse country. Very scenic and romantic. I have said it before, not my vision of Florida; then, of course, because I live in Colorado, mod thing that I live in the mountains. Beautiful photos. And can you still buy Bon Ami?
Beautiful farm and love seeing the cattle egret, too! Love the big old tree!xo Karen
Hello Diana!
I'm happy to be able to read and see your adventures throughout Florida today.
Those birds are cattle best friends since they help them get rid of annoying bugs.
Keep having fun my friend.

I love the Egrets, that is a fun photo. :-)
Such beautiful countryside! I just returned from visiting Pennsylvania and one of the things that struck me was the absence of fences.
I love to watch horses run with their manes and their tails flying in the air. That is the epitome of freedom to me...
It's fun to see another side of Florida. I've only to the beaches. :-) Thanks for sharing!
I love your photos of the horse farm Diane.
What a peaceful environment for them - maybe we could live there for a while too!
Gorgeous fences today - thank you!
I'm running late!

Lovely fences and beautiful horses!
Yes, I do see the egret birds along the fence! How pretty. Beautiful photos of gorgeous scenery :)
It looks like a fascinating place. No wonder you love it! I enjoyed seeing all your beautiful photos.
Have a lovely Sunday!

Beautiful scenery and horses :)
I love the scenery Diane! I come across scenes like this quite often here in Massachusetts, but rarely do I have the opportunity to stop and take pictures. There always seems to be a car behind us and I fell it would be a little dangerous to stop, but one of these days I'm going to get the chance. I'm usually the driver too, but I think it would be easier to take pics while still in the car but as a passenger.
Must have been a bird convention! Nice capture.
