Fall in the Blue Ridge Mountains

We are always happy to get back to our condo here in the mountains of Western North Carolina to look out over our beloved mountains!

DSCN8333-2

Imagine our surprise when we walked onto the balcony this morning and saw THIS amazing view!

We went to the North Carolina Arboretum on the last warm day of Fall!

It’s always a beautiful garden to walk through at any time of the year! (no enhancement on these photos!)

Beautiful trees, I love them, nature in Malta isn't considered like a treasure, people cut trees and destroy lands to build and build blocks of apartments.I believe, in my heart that my life is not here,I can't be happy without nature and animals.

Beautiful pictures! We still have leaves, but it was very windy today and they're falling fast.

Gorgeous! The colors here are dismal. One of our worst fall seasons ever. You have to look long and hard for vibrant colors. We went out to take photos earlier today. I took ONE. Can you imagine? And it is nothing to write home about.

Ooooh, can't wait to see what kind of giveaway you're going to have!

What a glorious sight to see that beautiful rainbow in the sky! It added beauty to the already beautiful scenery around you. I never get tired seeing pictures of fall colors. The leaves here are pretty but not at their peak, yet. We usually are picking up leaves until the end of Nov. Hope you have a fantastic week, Diane!---------- Shannon

That rainbow is gorgeous and your mosaic is fine. I'm glad that you had the opportunity to see some amazing foliage this year even if it was kind of nippy!

This is so beautiful, sadly, here in the desert we don't get the pretty leaves anyway, but it has turned cold!
