I complain about my camera sometimes but then I come home from the Park with photos like these!
This one I took when we were walking. I barely slowed down, just turned and took the photo.
I love the way the Crepe Myrtle trees are turning orange in the background.
(and yes, it’s still green in January here in Florida and my little camera is an Canon S100)
I’m joining Beautiful Sunday,
and Amaze me Monday!
I hope everyone is safe and staying warm in their homes this weekend.
I’m feeling a lot better, thanks for caring.
How are you faring with this latest storm?

Glad that you are feeling better. It snowed most of the day yesterday. At 6:30 am, my iPhone says that it is cloudy at 9 degrees. More snow on the way, which is a good thing because we need the moisture. Your photos are awesome. Your little camera is perfect for taking wlmong on walks and you get great results.
Beautiful shots for sure! Everything here is sleep dark brown and wet...so cold and rainy!
Blessings,
Cindy
Lovely photos! Everything here is white!!
Gorgeous! All we have is snow, snow, snow. It's minus 22 this morning. Brrrr. My favorite shot is the second one with all the trees. Lovely composition!
So pretty! How lucky for you to still have such pretty views.
So lovely !!!!...happy sunday love Ria...x !
Oh good to know that you are feeling better. I love that beautiful, perfectly framed shot of the trees. The storm comes in tonight with freezing rain through Monday. I can see two grandsons for the day tomorrow!
That last photo is beautiful! I used to have a horrible little camera when I was a kid, but I loved taking photos and "finding" a good shot. There was no photo editing then, and I had no special features on my very simple camera. I look back at some of those old photos of mine and they still look pretty good to me. But it's often just the composition of the shot itself that makes a good photo, and not necessarily an expensive camera.

i love the spanish moss ... great flowers. the main part i would wish for with my camera is better & clear-er close-ups. ( :

Oh my Diane. That last shot is frame worthy! It turned out so beautiful. I love it!!!! The flowers are very pretty as well
Winter storm and cold, cold temps for us. I heard the weatherman say wind chills of -20!
OH- I am so so so jealous. We are growing icicles here and the only orange is really red-and that is blooming on our noses and cheeks. A great day to stay inside and do nothing. GREAT pictures, Diane- xo Diana
Such beautiful photos! Point and shoots aren't that bad at all Sis! So glad you are feeling better. It is super cold here and I'm just hunkering down and working inside the home for the next few days.
hugs,
Linda
I love seeing your photos in the winter ... give me hope that spring will return to the frozen north where I live :)
Cold and more snow on the way.
Love the Spanish moss.
no complaints here!
Beautiful shots Diane- I really like the photo of the trees with all the Spanish Moss hanging...
So glad you are feeling better. Hope you continue to improve.
Hugs, Linda
That is a wonderful photo! Thanks for sharing it!
A quiet snow day here, gives me time to visit blogs!
Hugs, Diane!
I think you have the best weather along with California. It is raining and cold here and I worked on a table outside yesterday and nearly froze. Your camera does fine.
Hi Diane,
So glad your feeling much better. Beautiful photos. Still feeling a little sad that our Cowboys ended their season. Oh well, like the old saying goes - "wait until next year". LOL only problem is that we have been waiting for that year a long time!
Take care and a very happy New Year to you and Mr. Lavender!
hugs,
Pat
Love that dripping mossy tree - what is that??
I think the point and shoots do a fine job. I love mine. Your photos are very pretty and the weather is certainly prettier than ours! Unless you love snow. :)
Gorgeous! Especially love the shot of your tree. We already have 100s of schools closed for Monday with this latest blizzard and bitter temps. The girls aren't complaining. Break just keeps going and going and going!
Sorry to hear you've been sick but glad you are feeling better. Beautiful shots with your camera. The crepe myrtles are a beautiful color. And I always like to see the hanging moss--so expressive!
Oh...how I would love to see flowers right now. We had a little snow overnight and then the rain came...lots of it. Here soon it is going back to snow for overnight and then the wind-chills will be -30 to -40 tomorrow. Brrrr.... I'm staying inside all day tomorrow!!!
hugs,
Cindy
The camera AND you do a mighty fine job!
Gorgeous, Gorgeous Photo!
The weather sounds pretty crazy around the country.. It's cold here in Washington but nothing like whats going on elsewhere.. Love your pretty photos. I am thinking we need to head your way next winter..

Oh, how i would love some of that warm sunshine on my back right now.
Your little camera takes great photos.
Those flowers are so pretty.
Here in the Alentejo..we had bad winds last week.
Its cold. I have my woodburner going most days.
But parts of America and England have been hit really badly with the weather.
Happy Monday Diane.

Hi Diane, I'm so glad that you are feeling better. I love all the photos today and thanks for the cheery photos! It's going to be in the teens tomorrow here. I hate cold weather and only go out unless I really have to. Take care and enjoy that weather.

Hi there namemate! Sorry for the late visit. Been busy catching up with work after the holiday break..
I guess cameras are like women too sometimes. They have mood swings haha It happens to me as well.
