Isn’t that a beautiful phrase? And aren’t we fortunate to make friends that last over time?
I won this beautiful quilted ball from my friend, Laura from Rhodes Creations and she sent some extra goodies like the music CD and pretty tag. Thank you SO very much Laura!
So when I put together these shelves with a few Valentine pretties, I had the perfect spot for it.
There are other treasures on these shelves from friends I’m made over the years…my girlfriend, Pat from Colorado, Kim K, Michelle Palmer and others. Plus some things I’ve made.
I love mixing all of my pretties together and having them on display to enjoy.
I bought these little shelves at the thrift store and hubby put it on the end of my kitchen cabinet. I can see it from the lanai so it’s perfect for seasonal decorations.
Have you decorated for Valentine’s yet?
Be sure to decorate with things you love!

I'm smiling at all your pretty things. I've been getting a few Valentine things out this week. The house seemed rather bare after Christmas ended. I've got a few Valentine crafting ideas swirling around in my head too. HUGS!
How sweet! Oh, I have made dozens and dozens of those quilted balls over the years. Given most of them away too, LOL. Your display is terrific - nice jolt of red color to brighten up that area. And I've put out a bowl of my stitched fabric hearts already. I made them last year and blogged about them.
That is so nice! I like where you've chosen to hang it. I don't usually decorate for Valentine's Day, but I sure like yours!
very sweet. no, i don't decorate. :)
I've been here via the PC...no go...so am back to iPad. Where there's a will, there's a way. So far, only yours and NanaDiana's aren't working for me. I'm sure it is a Blogger issue now as all WordPress and Typepad comments are functioning. They must be putting in new tracks.

Love the Valentines' Decor. No, I have not decorated for the day. I'm not going to even look for my decorations, but if I stumble on them, up they'll go.
Such a cute shelf, Diane! Glad I can count you as a friend! Have a wonderful day!!!
Cute display...I haven't started ...too busy stitching up prim goodies I reckon...enjoy your evening...Hugs lil raggedy

What sweet treasures you've been gifted with! It's good to put them out where you can see them.
I've not decorated for Valentine's Day yet, but it's been on my mind and seeing your display is prompting me to get to it!
What a great way to enjoy all your treasures!
You are the most winningest person I have ever met-hugs
Cute blog, I have never heard of decorating for Valentines Day. Could it be an American tradition?
Very cute! Really like that shelf too. Nope-- no Valentine's Day decor here yet.
I don't decorate for Valentine's Day, but I do enjoy seeing how others do it. So cute.
Everything's so pretty! I love those wee crochet teacups!
Have a wonderful day!
That's a sweet shelf with all your pretties and I like where you hung it. I've not seen a quilted ball before and it is really nice.
I made a heart wreath for the front door but I don't do too much inside unless I host a Valentine's tea with friends.
Adorable quilted ball! I like your kitchen arrangement! I made those little hearts that you commented on, but I really don't do too much for Valentine's day. But I did a little something, because my child wanted too.
Sweet, sweet treasures!
So pretty!
Cute, cute. I don't decorate for Valenttines.
Such sweet treasures. I can't even imagine how that quilted ball was made, so pretty.
You have some really cute Valentine decorations Diane. I haven't put up any yet and may do a couple things tomorrow like banners. We'll be away for Valentine's Day so I don't want to put too much up before hand and have to find it when we get home.
Oh Diane,
Look at all your Valentine pretties! Your shelf is a nice way to display holiday items. I just bought a girl statue and she has a spot to put things in, and I put three red roses in it. That's all the Valentine stuff I have out yet, but do you know that it's my second favorite holiday? I look forward to seeing more of your Valentine treasures.
Love,
~Sheri
Well, I LOVE your sweet little decorations! I haven't started decorating for Valentine's Day yet but will soon. xo Diana

Your little shelf of Valentine things is so pretty! I love red and I love hearts, but I don't do much decorating for Valentine's Day.
That little ball is so pretty - I've never seen anything like that.
Oh that quilted ball is so pretty! Isn't it lovely to win something so special!
I see you are already getting into the Valentines Theme already!
Hugs,

The quilted ball is so pretty. I've never seen anything like it. I love the idea of having shelves just to decorate for the seasons. I haven't started decorating for Valentine's Day yet, but think I will begin doing a little at a time this weekend.
