I wished for a birthday to remember and I got one!
Thanks to everyone for your sweet birthday greetings. They meant a lot to me when I got home from the beach.
It was beautiful for a few hours and one of the best shelling days ever at Canaveral National Seashore.
There were MOUNDS of seashells of every description and we had tons of fun picking up our favorites.
Calico Scallops are my favs and we found lots of variations.
A rain shower rolled in so we left a little earlier than expected. And I’ll just leave it at that and share the good parts of my day.

All those shells are amazimg to a Midwesterner! My daughter would go bonkers-- she collects them.
We have snow. A out and inch at 9 degrees. Love your beach photos, n ice and sunny and warm. Your smile says it all.

Oh that rosy little shell right in the middle grabs my eye. So glad that you had a really good day! That sky photo is amazing, it must have been after the storm.

I'm glad you spent part of your birthday on the beach, Diane. It looks beautiful and warm there. That sure is a lot of shells! The sun IS shining here today and is lovely streaming in the windows but it's bitterly cold out there. I will enjoy it from the inside today. :)

So glad you enjoyed a birthday doing what you love. I would be in heaven with those shells too. I created a stone shell beach by our pool. It works when you can't be at the beach. LOL
My hubby's birthday is the 25th and we are only hoping for some warmer temps.

I try to focus on the good. Working with the public it can sometimes be hard to do though..lol I have never seen so many pretty seashells! And looks like you picked out some great reads too ;)
