Mirrors and fairies…oh my!

I found the prettiest little mirror at the Hospice Thrift Store last week.

I used the App Waterlogue for IPADS to create this watercolor.

A couple of years ago, I won a gift certificate from Bella Rosa Antiques and I chose a beautiful blue mirror. They have wonderful vintage items that you can order online HERE.

Anyway, this small mirror reminded me of the one I have and when I looked for the box from the other one, they were the same design.

Isn’t that fun?

Maybe I’ll start a ‘new collection’!

How perfect. My little granddaughter wants a hand held mirror. A lucky find for you. I will go antiquing this week to look for one. Love the fairy. You have pretty cool thrift shops.

Very pretty-- I like the boxes too!

What precious little mirrors and how grand that the boxes were the same. Funny thing, the little yellow angel in the collage....there were a pair of them at our thrift store the other day. They had Japan stickers on the bottom. Another lady bought them!

Those mirrors are adorable. I think that could be a sweet collection. I have started collecting little pitchers.:) I can use them as vases. :):).. Blessings for a great Sunday, xoxo,Susie

Those mirrors are beautiful. Perhaps they were made by the same company. I sure do envy your thrift stores down there. It's only junk up here in our area.

I'm with Donna. I never find cute stuff in our thrift stores. Love those mirrors!

I have never seen a mirror like that. They are so pretty and you were so lucky to find them. I think I may have to try and find me one.

That is so neat. It is funny how we always seem to be drawn to certain things. Sometimes I get home with some find and realize I already have something similar..and then a new collection is born. I love the Fairy too.

Blessings,
Amy Jo

What lovely little mirrors! I think a mirror collection sounds delightful, and would not take up much room. So much you could do with them. Your water color looks great! Have a good week!

Oh the mirrors are so pretty. And cool that they are similar!
Very pretty Blues. Your photography is very pretty.
Thanks for sharing. I love the way you did the Mosaic.
I haven't decided on my Blue post yet a few ideas running around.
Thanks for visiting My Cowboy Blue/Fences. I love Cowboys!
Actually I love the Cowboy life!
We had a wonderful visit with our little Cowboy this weekend!
Thanks again for coming by. I need to make a library run myself!

Hi again. I meant to mention on your fence post. You commented about a lot of fences around the horse property. I can't see it all but it looks like maybe the fences you see where they exercise the horses around the property. I think the do this race horses. There is a property near me that is like that. It's a horse community with not very much land around here there is not much place to ride so they fenced this around the entire subdivision so you could have a safe place to ride. Maybe it is something similar.

I bet you will find some lovely ones. Have fun looking.

Oh, those are pretty little mirrors.
I thought of you while visiting a local thrift shop this weekend. Found my very first Raggedy Ann and Andy, two large and two small. I think it's collection time. :) Always wanted to collect those, and now that one of our chickadees has flown the nest, I have an extra room. :( I think I'm naturally gravitating toward those bright colors. :)

Oh my! When I saw the first mirror I thought... did I have one of those? It was all starting to come back to me and then I scrolled down some more and saw the one that I actually had that you purchased! A great pairing, really!

Thank you by the way, for shopping in my store, it means a lot to me that I can find homes for these little treasures. :)

Great find, great post!
