Crepe Myrtles in bloom at Tuscawilla Park

We spent Sunday morning at this beautiful park and was surprised to see the Crepe Myrtles in full bloom.

I took lots of bird photos that I will share later, Eileen! I know you love this park, too.

Had a great weekend, actually, thanks for asking. Our back yard neighbors have two of the most beautiful fuscia crepe myrtles, and I pretend they are mine.

What a pretty park and I love the shade of the crepe myrtles. Our most common here is the dark pink. It looks so green there!

What a pretty place. We had a rainy but cool and lovely weekend. It was sure nice after all of the heat we've had.

Have a great week!

I love Crepe Myrtles! Would you believe Louis Dean does NOT? I had them linging my driveway in the front (white ones) and along the back fence (pink ones) and a huge one by the front fence! He cut them ALL down! I guess it's true love that I allowed that! The fact that we were newlyweds didn't hurt! He wouldn't get away with that NOW - 10 years later!

Ohhh some of my favorite flowers - we had some in CA - they don't grow so well here in the Pacific Northwest. Gorgeous photos in a fabulous park. We had a very nice weekend, thanks for asking my friend. I just finished the photos for Wednesday's post - hurray!!!

I wish we could grow crepe myrtle in the north, gorgeous lavender blooms.
My weekend was wonderful with a concert Saturday night with hubby and a bus trip with other gardeners on Sunday. :-)
