We drove to the Gulf Coast last weekend and made a few stops along the way.
We love visiting our state parks. Crystal River Preserve State Park has a lot to see. “The park borders 20 miles of the northern Gulf Coast between the two cities of Yankeetown and Homosassa.”
Crystal River has some neat places to visit and I saw a few fences to share. We’ll look through a few of them to see what’s on the other side.
Like this Great Blue Heron.
And how nice it would be to be fishing along the bank of this river.
So many sights to see and photos to take!
Our Subaru was wishing it had a little trailer to pull behind it! lol

We are counting the days til our vacation in Gulf Shores, AL in September. Just hoping all hurricanes stay away!!

a great green area with palms and pines! thanks for the fencery and the cute tagalong trailer, too. :)
The river photos look so pretty, but aren't you afraid of alligators . . . that would spoil my fishing on the bank idea.
I can see why you would enjoy this park.A very pretty, cool looking area.
Fences are great for drawing the eye to see what else lies around and beyond! TFS!
Great rustic looking fence, nice scenery too.Blessings Francine.
Hi Diane, I enjoyed the pretty views behind the fences and along the rivers. Everything looks very lush there. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs. Pam

Nice photos, all of them. I love the little trailer, would love to see the inside.
Diane, hard to beat those old rail fences. I'm always fascinated with those tiny little trailers some folks use for camping. Not for me, I'm afraid.
Great photos!! My SUV has a hitch on the back of it and I keep telling my hubby that I hear it saying it needs a camper to pull.!!
hugs,
Cindy
I'd love to be visiting this place. I would want to go fishing there.
I enjoy visiting state parks, too. Nice scenery and fences--and of course, the Great Blue Heron! I love finding a view with a bird in it. ;)
I haven't been to those places but we discovered those back roads in Florida a few years back and ive loved them ever since! There is so much more to Florida than the beaches! I do love your state

Hi Diane
Sure looks like another lovely place to visit! Have you gotten a lot of rain? My Sis lives in Apollo Beach and she said she had rain 20 days in a row.
"So many sights to see and photos to take!" - Wish I had those problems too LOL But seriously, I always love your photos and posts. Everything looks so refreshing, relaxing and even your anecdotes never fail to make me the happiest.
