Thank you!

I SO appreciate everyone who takes time to visit my blog every week! And it felt especially nice to get all the sweet birthday greetings!

I felt like it was a 'big deal' this year but when the day came, I felt GREAT!

And I got lots of cards and gifts....greetings and messages!

(and even promises of more on the way! heehee!)

This one from my sweet cousin made me cry!

It was WAY too cold and windy to do the big hike we had planned so we drove over to one of my favorite places nearby, Pruitt Trailhead.

I know temps in the 50s wouldn't scare most of you but with the wind, it felt a lot cold...EERRR!

A beautiful pop up card from my youngest son and a sweet letter inside!

My hubby always surprises me with something funny!

He said this card reminded him of me Wendy!

Oh my! I LOVE IT!

Thanks again for taking part in my special day this year! To quote from one of my favorite movies, What About Bob....

"I feel good....I feel great....I feel wonderful"!

heeheeheehee! 🎉

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays .

This is a wonderful, happy post. Lovely to read.
It's funny, temps in the 50s.... We've been -20 (F. and C. converge at that point!) and are warming up this week.

Awww...sweet! And even Wendy came through! 😁 Fifty degrees would be most welcome here, though I do understand that it’s all relative.

Oh the adorable picture of “Wendy” really caught my eye on your thumbnail (on TT) ... I guessed it would be yours! Even more fun knowing who it was from. What a super birthday. (And yes, brrrr over here too.)

Oh I love that last card Diane. I agree with you about the temps. The wind here has been brutal so I skipped my walk. I did not even want to get out to drive to the mall to walk. It is warming up but guess what? Rain again!! So glad you had a wonderful birthday. You are loved by so many...what a blessing.

I am glad you had a happy day. It is quite cold for me too. I often wonder if it is because it feels so humid with the cold that might make it feel colder or if I am just a a plain old weakling when it comes to cold. I think it might be the latter. I have been inside and can't wait for some pretty weather to hit the outdoors:)

Your post is filled with happiness. So glad you had a wonderful celebration of your birthday. Hope you can get out and do some more hiking soon. But you'll have to beware of the iguanas falling from trees, because of the cold weather. We saw that on our news last night.

I love that you had such a nice birthday, and you certainly did get some wonderful cards! I love that people still send cards and go out of their way to choose special ones. I was noticing also the books on your bookshelf and wishing I could see some of the titles. I am an "old book" fanatic and love to see interesting old books. So many have gotten rid of all their old books and it is sad. The libraries don't carry the old ones anymore either. I can't bear to let go of my old favorites, even though they are getting very brittle with age. (like me! LOL) Yes, today was another kind of "raw" day here in Florida. I stayed home and baked cookies while hubby took a walk. Have a blessed and wonderful rest of the week, and enjoy your grand age! You are blessed to have attained it and still have good health, mind and spirit.

It's still cold here......I'm ready for the warm days to come back, ha ha LOL. Every time you put up pictures of your Wendy doll I think of that old song "Windy". ha ha Was that by the Association maybe? Love that song.

I love the pouting Wendy card and it ties for first place with the pop up tree. that is amazing. I remember when my dad turned 70 how OLD I thought he was. I was 39 and 70 seemed so old to me, now 70 is a young girl, just like you... I still feel great and blessed and am 75, hang in there for another 5 years and then I will be 80. yowsa

So glad that you felt loved -- because you are. Next summer is my "big birthday" and I've already started planning with a few friends who also will be 70. It was 50 in New York and felt balmy today. Have a great weekend, birthday girl!
