Go for the GOLD!

We don't usually go on a hike with a purpose in mind.

We just get out on the trails to enjoy nature and stretch our legs!

But sometimes we get home with our photos and see a theme.

We saw SO many wildflowers in bloom this week.

I decided to start an identification folder on my desktop to put ID flower pics.

Since I forget what they are from year to year, this might come in handy next year! lol

There are lots of yellows colors and lavenders at this time of year.

So what was GOLD?

Oh, that's my new Mac!

I changed the throw on the back of the sofa in the lanai too to declare Fall in Florida!

It's great and I love it. Thanks hubby for the surprise gift!

Have you seen any pretty colors in your neck of the woods this week?

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

Also I like Thursdays HERE.

Have a wonderful week!

The leaves here are changing. Daughter and I picked flowers for drying and using on wreaths - those were pretty colors. A gold Mac? What I crave is a new camera to take better photos. Yours are so lovely.

Happy Mac! Bravo to your husband!
Labeling the flowers is a great idea. A sketch pad can also be a help. The blue curly flower is fancy and cute.

Your new Mac is beautiful. I really like Blue Curl. Now that's a very descriptive name.

Diane - both Beautyberry and Blue Curls are new plants for me. Gor-geous!!!

Here, our color comes from Spiraea, Snowberry, Burning Bushes, and Aspens. A few Asters still hanging on, and of course, Goldenrod.

So happy for you that you have a new computer - so invigorating!

Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

Hello friend from the past - great to see you back - a few months ago I had a new Mac too, but I wasn't as wildly enthusiastic as you are, because I went from an Apple to Windows - so it took me a while to adjust! Don't know if you have my new url yet (one word) living between two realms (.) wordpress (.) com and my new username is Emille instead of Jesh (from All Seasons)
Today wifi must be slow, because I don't see your photos yet. Great visiting you! Emille Jesh)

hi there my sweet friend! Love all these pretty WILDFLOWERS! Love that purple one that's first. I haven't seen any beautyberries yet this year, there used to be some in a park here, I will have to check but I don't think there were any last year. I think they are so pretty! Love the hike pictures, always fun and feels like I am right there with y'all! Hope you're having a nice week so far! Hugs! (PS---have you played with your dolls any lately?)

Hello there! Glad to see all is good in your neck of the woods! - My hikes with our new rescue dog have had a common theme lately - mushroom hunting, so many different colors - Your wildflowers are beautiful down there - we have some that are the same, but not all! I enjoyed learning the names.

You saw a lot of purple flowers on the trail this time. The deer tongue is so unusual and pretty. I'm wondering why it's called that. How fun that you got
a new laptop. Your red checkered throw is cute. Red plaid or red checkered
always reminds me of Fall. : )

Have a peaceful weekend doing the things you love.

Yes, I was thinking of the bugs that might get inside the pinecones, so I may just spray paint some and keep them outside. That's a good idea to keep them
in your garage for awhile and let them air out. That was a journal on my post and also a picture. I love the artist' creations, and it seems that whenever
I see something in that line, I always bring it home. : )

What a wonderful gift!!! That should be a lot of fun to play with!! And it's GOLD! Wow! I love to see your wildflowers labelled, etc. I try to do that too, but this year I gave up trying. However, the one you call deer tongue I see over here and I never knew that is what it was, so thank you! I love those pretty flowers, don't you? I think God's flowers are the best...we call them wildflowers, but they are God's beautiful garden and we don't have to do a thing but enjoy them. I love the autumn golds and purples...so wonderful. Thank you for sharing your "golden" pictures with us!! Blessings!!
