Sometimes you feel like a NUT....

especially at the Central Florida Peanut Festival!

We had the BEST time at this festival!

26Oct-1

There was FUN for everyone!

I even stopped to get feathers in my hair!

This sweet lady put them in...they’re kind of flying out of the side of my hair! It was windy!

Hubby walked over here while my hair was being feathered....

DSCN7288

YAY HUBBY!!! He SCORED some Kettle Corn!

He also got boiled peanuts but he ate them while we walked!

Yes...that’s an empty cup! heehee!

DSCN7365

We saw elephants,

DSCN7261

miniature horses,

DSCN7265

donkeys

DSCN7267

and this HUGE dog!

DSCN7303

FUN FUN FUN!

I’m joining Mary for Mosaic Monday!

DSCN7323

So what do you want...peanuts or popcorn ?

DSCN7322

Or how about feathers and beads in your hair?

Can you see the feathers flying here?

DSCN7321

I bought this string of turquoise for $3, the boat brooch for $1...feathers were $5!!! I was already wearing a necklace with beads and an arrowhead and two pairs of earrings! By the end of the day I started looking like a gypsy...or a NUT!

Looks like you guys had lots of fun!!! I'll take the peanuts AND the popcorn! I'm still not sure about the feathers, but they look good on you!!! :))

You look just great! I would go for both peanuts and popcorn and I'd be too shy for the feathers, though I think they look charming. Looks like a beautiful and very pleasant day!

You look so cute. I am giddy you got some feathers in your hair. Mine are still in too after a month or so. I even color my hair with them, but I wrap them in foil as they will turn the dye color. Peanut festival looked fun.

What a lovely way to spend the day! Peanuts and popcorn are favorite snacks at our house. Especially during baseball season. I love the feathers. I can't believe you only paid $5. My daughter's was $12 and in the salons they are closer to $15. Good for you! How fun!!

Peanuts - and I'll have mine boiled, please. I never heard of boiled peanuts until I lived in Florida. But now that I travel to China so much for work, I find that boiled peanuts are not unique to FL.
Love your feathers. I don;t think you look like a 'nut' at all. You look just precious! Wanda in Edmonton
