Do you know what it is?
It’s a wildflower your sweetie gives you when you’re hiking together!
I know….I am totally spoiled!
We sure saw a lot of pretty wildflowers on our hike and then when we got to the greenhouses, I took these photos of the flower beds there.
Here’s another sweet flower, a beautiful gardenia.
My girlfriend Sharon from Alabama sent me this photo. She and I are penpals and good friends.
I’m joining Beautiful Sunday,

Love the idea of the sweetheart flower...
We have many sweetheart flowers in our field. Till now I just called them wild daisies!.. I like your definition better :)
Yes I posted to-night my walk with flowers.
Spring is in the air for all of us..
Love your violas.
I used the daisy when I was young. He loves me, loves me not.
He loved me and married me. You too?
Thank you for the violas, so pretty. Have a wonderful week:)
So Diane, did you pull the petals off the daisy to see if does truly love you? :-)

Ah thank you, purple is one of my favourite colours! I can smell the gardenia through the screen, I love those flowers. xx
I could almost SMELL that gardenia! I LOVE the way they smell. It actually reminds me of when I was about 4 yrs old, when we lived in FL.

I mentioned you in my blog today.

Your flowers are beautiful! And how special to get a sweetheart flower! I had not heard of that before. Have a great week!

Beautiful flowers, Diane! My Mother's favorite flower was gardenia, as my dad brought her a gardenia corsage when they had their first date, so it was always so special to her.
Aww, what a sweetie! I bet when you pulled all the petals the last one was "He love me"! Lovely pictures as always, thanks for sharing, Deb
So pretty and did you do the loves me, loves me not on those petals after the image was taken;') Have a great week~
Oh yes, and did you "test" his love? I figure one can always get that to work out right if a gal is thinking. Beautiful photography, Diane, and as sweet as this header is, I miss that other one. Can you stick it on the side or something? =D
I love gardenias! We don't have them up north but I love to see and smell them when I'm down south. Thanks for stopping by, Laura
Very romantic--it's the little things that mean so much. And it looks like you timed your visit just right for the arboreutum.
I love these little photo walks!
Flowers never fail to make anyone smile. Even the grouchiest person can earth can smile with the mere sight of flowers. Right?
Thank you for forever linking up namemate! Hope you are having a great week!
Aw...what a "sweetie!" That gardenia has me thinking about the one I have in a container on my deck that has never bloomed. The leaves are green, and it appears healthy, it even made it through the winter, but when the buds appear and I think it's going to bloom the buds die...so weird. Happy weekend to you!
So sweet! Thanks so much for sharing at Amaze Me Monday...
Blessings,
Cindy
Pretty! Love your mosaic! I want to go to North Carolina!! :)
Karen
Flowers picked by your honey are always extra sweet! Especially daisies. :-)
My daughters give me those flowers all the time. Best flowers I've ever gotten.
