A Bamboo Robe? OH MY!

It truly is luxurious!

That’s the perfect word to describe it!

IMG_0635

It’s soft, smooth and silky against your skin.

Here’s the description on the Comfy Robes website,

“Our Comfy Unisex Bamboo robe is a favored alternative to traditional terry cloth robes because it is four times more absorbent and it has unique antibacterial properties. But the key feature is the super softness of this robe against your skin. It is so comfy that you will not want to take it off!”

I didn’t mean to get sick so that I could wear it all the time but it sure came at the perfect time. It’s roomy and extra long so it really keeps you warm.

I won this in a giveaway given by Suzan at Old Grey Mare. I got to choose the color and even the color and design of the monogram. I chose crème and it’s a soft, kind of wheat color.

I chose a dark red wreath with my initial for the monogram. Can you believe, I don’t think I’ve ever had anything monogramed in my life? It really makes you feel special.

Thanks Suzan for this beautiful gift. I love it! And for those of you that are in need of a new robe, I highly recommend the Bamboo robe HERE. They have free shipping, too!

There’s nothing like taking a hot scented bubble bath in the evening and then putting on a luxurious robe. Makes you glad you’re a ‘girl’!

Have you ever had any clothing made from bamboo?

Hi Diane, what a gorgeous robe. I love the color and the red monogram. I have not had anything designed of bamboo in clothing. What a luxury!! Congrats on your win and hope you are feeling better. It's really awful to be sick this time of year. I had a very bad flu last Jan. and was very ill.
Love your imposter post too.

Enjoy your new robe and get well wishes come your way.

It's beautiful, and looks so soft! I have never had any clothing made from Bamboo. Didn't even though they made clothing out of it. How interesting!

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

Well, living here in our house with a few Panda's I have to say we can't "wear" bamboo, they would eat the clothes right off our backs. Giggle.

It sounds wonderful and pampering. I've never had a bamboo robe - in fact I'd had for anyone to see my robe. Everything that is made from bamboo seems to have wonderful reviews. That's great since it's easily harvested.

I just looked it up and that's one gorgeous robe and generous gift. I wrote down the info because I will need a new robe soon.

And Thirteen Moons is sitting in my bookcase, waiting to be read. I also read Nightwood, by Mr. Frazier. It was the first one I read and fell in love with the way he writes. Hope he is working on a new book.

Sounds so inviting and wonderful. No, I have never had anything so special for wearing after a bath. Sounds ultra cozy.( Your comment today at my place made me laugh. Thank you! )

What a wonderful giveaway! I knit with bamboo yarn for my Florida babies. It's super soft but it's a natural fiber so it breathes. That's why it doesn't get too hot to wear a knitted vest.

I have a set of bamboo towels and they feel great. I know the robe does too.

Wow, very luxurious looking Diane. I pondered buying bamboo towels the last time I needed some but they're expensive. A friend had bamboo hardwood laid in the LR-DR and they love it! As a renewable resource, bamboo is a good choice.
