Highs and Lows!

I wished for a birthday to remember and I got one!

oceanIMG_0891

Thanks to everyone for your sweet birthday greetings. They meant a lot to me when I got home from the beach.

It was beautiful for a few hours and one of the best shelling days ever at Canaveral National Seashore.

There were MOUNDS of seashells of every description and we had tons of fun picking up our favorites.

Calico Scallops are my favs and we found lots of variations.

A rain shower rolled in so we left a little earlier than expected. And I’ll just leave it at that and share the good parts of my day.

Is the sun shining in your part of the world today?

Do you focus on the good in your life?

It’s the best ONLY way to live your life!

Oh that rosy little shell right in the middle grabs my eye. So glad that you had a really good day! That sky photo is amazing, it must have been after the storm.

Happy belated birthday, friend! A day at the beach would be my wish, too. Those shells are beautiful!

Glad to hear that you had a fun day! The sun is shining here at the moment, but it's ding-dang cold. 24 degrees right now. Would love to go out for a walk, but it needs to warm up more before I venture out!

Wow. All those shells in one spot. My girls and I would go crazy!! Although I love the beaches along Lake MI, we won't ever have your beautiful shells. Continued birthday blessings!

Happy Birthday! I thought you were a Capricorn like me but you must be an Aquarius. And look how you love the ocean!

Happy Birthday. The pictures are beautiful.
It is 5 degrees here today but the sun is trying to shine.
It's okay if you don't have to go anywhere.

Belated birthday greetings to you, Diane.
Glad to hear that you had a good day of shelling. Looks like a fun time and the beach is looking very appealing. Sunny here, but COLD.
I try to make every day a good one. Sometimes easier said than done :).

Good for you! That is the best way - just forget the rain clouds and enjoy the blessings the rain gives and the sun when it reappears! Glad you found lots of shells!

So sorry to miss your birthday. A trip to the seashore sounds perfect.

Sunshine is not part of our day here at the KOA in San Antonio. We have high winds, heavy skies, and 38-degrees, going down to 28 tonight.

Brrr! Glad for a good heating unit in this RV.

Diane, I would've sworn I left a comment on the previous post, with your darling B&W photos. But I just scrolled through them all and didn't see one from me. I'm SO sorry I'm late in wishing you a Happy Birthday. I'm not sure if I knew you were also a Capricorn baby or not, but we ARE special people, aren't we?! :D
Love ya!

Diane, even if there was raging storm on that beach you would be a ray of sunshine.

Many happy returns to you my friend.

I'm glad you spent part of your birthday on the beach, Diane. It looks beautiful and warm there. That sure is a lot of shells! The sun IS shining here today and is lovely streaming in the windows but it's bitterly cold out there. I will enjoy it from the inside today. :)

So glad you enjoyed a birthday doing what you love. I would be in heaven with those shells too. I created a stone shell beach by our pool. It works when you can't be at the beach. LOL
My hubby's birthday is the 25th and we are only hoping for some warmer temps.
Enjoy the weekend.
Hugs
