Are you SKEEEERED of the Dark?

We’ll be seeing lots of ‘scary’ things this coming month on all of our favorite blogs!

And it will be so much fun to see how creative everyone is.

But if you go out into our courtyard at dusk, bring your flashlight and be prepared to see a scary creature hiding in the dark.

This little guy wouldn’t hurt a fly.

Well…he might EAT one, come to think of it!

Oh what fun photos! Wishing you a beautiful fall Sunday.

What misspelling are you talking about ...LOL. Oh yes, I am very, very scared of the dark. I do not want those creepy crawly things getting near me. I do not even want a web on me..eewweeeee. I hear many tree frogs when I go to get the paper early in the morning , sounds like hundreds. My hair stands up. But I like these pictures of frogs. xoxo,Susie

Awww that little guy is a cutie! When I go outside at night I'm amazed at the huge spider webs in the garden. HUGE. Then in the morning they are gone! Like magic! The spiders only set their traps at night. So amazing! Happy Sunday! Maggie

Cute frog! We have them, but a different type up here. You can hear lots of croaking late Spring/early summer. I've never looked for them at night!

Good Afternoon Diane, What a sweet little frog, he looks like he is busy going about his business.
As for the dark..... yes I admit it, I am a big old scaredy cat.

The only creatures we will see around here this time of year is the stink bug. Don't know if you have them in Florida. Not scary, just stinky :(

He is a sweet little guy but I have to admit I don't like little creatures sneaking up on me!

LOL... Right now I am scared of the stinkbugs that are invading our master bedroom. Of all the places for them to hang out, that's where we find them. Creepy! I've been keeping the vacuum out and sucking them into oblivion. The exterior of the house is going to get sprayed on Tuesday!

I still have a weird feeling when I go out and see those frogs stuck on the houses or inside the mail box or just quietly sitting on the back of the chair on the porch. Trust me I inspect everywhere before I sit when I'm outdoors!

Not scary to me, I think that is one CUTE visitor you had there ;)

You have so much fun making your posts and the little tree frog is not scary at all - just cute!
Some shadow puppets might have been nice. LOL I make these on the wall sometimes when we're in the hot tub at night and hubby thinks I'm crazy.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Diane.

Now huge ugly hairy scary spiders would scare me.

I love the spotlight effect! Although most everybody thinks he's cute, that would completely freak me out--especially in the dark. I am used to frogs that stay on the ground or in the water! Ha! Thanks for the fun post!

Stacey said...

Yes I'm scared of the dark - there are werewolves out there! Not scared of tree frogs though. :)

Debby said...

My friend that lives in Punta Gorda has little tiny white frogs that invade her front porch every night. Tons of them.
Your candle story was scarey. I have had a couple candle scares. Hot wax is not to be played with.

I bet you get lots of frogs in Florida, even little gekkos too! I know they freak a lot of people out but I think they're cute!

Cute little frog! Is he noisy at night? We have tiny tree frogs that make such a huge sound!

You are so much fun, Diane. I think the frog was probably more skeered than anyone. I don't like seeing little things move at night when I don't know exactly what they are. Have a wonderful week!

I have to say I like native green frogs. But those giant ones that are foreign to Florida that have only been here a few years scare me to death. I had one in my door wreath that almost gave me heart failure. LOL
